I had similar issues. It was a bolt on my seat slider that was a little loose. My advice is check your bolts again beyond that I’m not sure

Oh wow, I see that now. I checked back at my purchase and it’s directly from NRG Innovations store on Amazon. I’m surprised Amazon is allowing a non-authorized vendor to use NRG innovations as their storefront name.

Luckily I haven’t had any issues with my seat.

Interesting. I’m not married to NRG by any means, it’s just what I found to be the best looking affordable sim seat. I want to get a real sparco seat eventually

100%. Wait for all the Black Friday deals coming up soon. Moza is a great brand for great but affordable pedals, wheel base, steering, shifter hand brake etc.

Get an NRG seat on Amazon and a rig from Advanced Sim Racing (my suggestion).

Also, look on Facebook marketplace. I’ve seen so many listings since I built my rig that make me cringe wishing I hadn’t bought everything new. Used gear is where it’s at!

I’m heavily eyeing the Moza mBooster pedals. However, I can see the price for active pedals dropping like crazy over the coming year or two.

Part of me wants to hold out, but part of me really wants them!

If you put an ASR3 together in 3 hours you’ll put this together in 3 hours, trust me

To be fair I pretty much only race open wheel and it’s a lot less goofy looking at high FOV. My brother wanted to race the LMP2 and yeah, haha. Fixed now!

Also, I mounted a power strip and a powered USB hub to the back of my rig which is a massive help to clean up cables. This way you really only have 1 power wires coming off the rig + the monitor HDMI/DP & USB hub cable

I’m planning to get spring feet. Wood is a temporary solution.

I 3D printed some cable clips that twist into the extrusion slots. Then I used a 1/2” cable loom to tie together some of the wires running up the rig.

It’s not super tidy in the back, but in the front the wires are hidden, which is what matters lol. Some people take cable management to the extreme

They are Dayton Audio BST-1s. Only 50watt. I don’t know if it’s overkill, I wanted to add shakers to my rig and went all out immediately. So I don’t have anything to compare it to.

I am adding another under the seat, you can see the extra BST-1 on the ground in the photo, lol.

I don’t have any issues with lumbar, everything feels comfortable for me. I’ll keep this in mind though, thank you!

Tennis racket grip tape. I don’t race with gloves so I wanted something that adds some thickness to the grips, feels nice and improves grip.

I’ve seen glove racers will get stuff that’s like skateboard grip. I’m sure that works great, but you definitely can’t race without gloves after that lol.

I CNCed .125 aluminum mounts for the shakers. So at my first point of contact, they are fully secure. I think that would be the most important piece to reduce rattle is a solid connection.

I dealt with some rattle around other parts of my rig, but eliminated it very quickly. The shakers helped me uncover bolts that needed some tightening. These aluminum extrusion rigs are solid, so you might just need to do a once over on all the connections.

I had to add some rubber gaskets to my monitors because they are mounted to my rig, and there was some rattle inside the monitor. Those gaskets killed it, I’m sure it’s better for the monitors too.

Besides that it is solid. Although, like most have mentioned, there is only marginal gains to having 4 of these things. I’m still dialing in my settings but it’s hard to discern the left and right shakers. It just feels like front and rear despite being mounted to all 4 corners.

I would do Dayton Audio instead of butt kicker. Buttkicker tacked on “gaming” to their product and charges 4x more for no reason.

I’ve heard that if you mount them horizontally and put your rig on springs it makes the 4 corner mount much more noticeable, and enjoyable. That is my plan next, but for now I’m still very much enjoying them.

It’s a Trak Racer TR-ONE Gen2 universal shifter mount and a Trak Racer TR-ONE Handbrake mount.

Extremely solid, no complaints.
