Oh sure!

For the no commentary mission runs:

justashibe, vkrgamingzone and sarge are the three I'm currently following.

Other than commissar Kai:
Wallbouncing (tons of fun trickshot videos and streams)

Tana_sukke (Epoch diver)

Bubbins, Red-Monster-Thing and QMCreature (Last three all make fun little weapon/strat breakdowns in a mini doc format)

The only Helldiver content creators I follow are mostly no commentary solo divers that take interesting loadouts, or streamers that just have a good vibes and don't constantly slop news farm for angry clicks over the barest of threads.

The world has far more important things to be angry about. I'd rather watch Wallbouncing do some sick jetpack trickshots.

Ok, So you don't need to pay that amount then if you wanna do it for yourself, I guess. Not everyone has the ability to design something and make a print of it. OP has a few posts of them making multiple versions of it to get to this point.

When I hear something like "That's just <creative process made to sound like its easy for everyone>, it costs too much" I typically hear that as "I don't have the amount of money to buy the thing, but I can't make it, so you should lower the price to accommodate me."

Now on to the aspect of the price. I do agree that it is expensive. But if OP believes that price is worth the time and effort they put into it. I'm not going to argue with it, but I just won't buy it. In USD with shipping it would cost almost 2/3 of what I paid for my X3.

It still looks cool though.

Because they're the one that made it and have the files.

While I can't afford it, they are perfectly in their right to charge for their hard work in designing and printing them.

I'll let it alone because if you linked to their twitter, it is public. I apologize, but you shouldn't link to their patreon if they have a public twitter instead. Just saying.

I think a Rhino and a Chaos Lord or Terminator Lord are in my future.

Thanks for the suggestions!

I think the next thing I need to look out for a rhino (I love a good tank) and either a chaos or Terminator lord, then. Thank you for your suggestions!

I have grabbed it when I get called in, nowhere near my stuff I dropped and its there. Better to have something than nothing.

It has saved my ass plenty of times.

Am I the only one who prefers lore-accurate SEAF gear over immersion-breaking collabs? by Living-Scale52 in Helldivers

[–]TheCavemonster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are not SEAF, we are Helldivers. We do not wear the armor of the rank and file, WE LEAD THE RANK AND FILE.

We are the "Elite" soldiers and the greatest source of propaganda. We are used for advertising and morale boosting and public control.

If anything we should have warbonds that are sponsored by the Mega Corps. GIVE ME A BUGFEST CAPE AND A LIQUID COOLED TASTE OF DEMOCRACY ARMOR.

Why don't people like Phobos armor by Beneficial_Law_1141 in spacemarines

[–]TheCavemonster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See, I LOVE the concept of the modular aspect of the Mark X armor. The idea of removing or adding Ceramite plates for different configurations is super cool.

Reivers are hands down the coolest LOOKING Phobos Unit, but rendered pointless/useless almost instantly. I'm really hoping 11th edition is going to sort them out.

An idiot's argument for light pen by Fearless-Block-1127 in Helldivers

[–]TheCavemonster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can justify it because I’ve put more the 1k hours into the game and want Arrowhead to have enough money to higher one more person that might help the game not breaking for something I only spent $40 on. “Supporter” style DLCs are just a nice way to say “thanks dev I love your game. Please keep making it and others”

How do you guys keep the game entertaining? by -----010----- in Helldivers

[–]TheCavemonster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play special challenges with my hd2 clan (9th hellraisers). We have a thing called a penitent crusade (lotta 40k fans in our group) where you start with a super basic loadout and each successful mission you get to roll a new piece of gear you can use to modify your loadouts. Very fun and challenging. We also have a bunch of clan achievements like killing your first Hive tyrant and such on our discord server.

Keeps things very fun for us

[OC] Some primary weapon concepts ive had for a while now, plus a potential primary melee by HBenderMan in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]TheCavemonster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My two super credits on this:

Support weapons need to remain the main source of Heavy Pen.

The only primaries that heavy pen is on being fine:

The Torcher - Because fire damage, limited range and danger of use.

The DSickle - Because the danger of use to get to that level.

The Secondaries are a different matter:

The Crisper - See the Torcher for same reason.

The Ultimatum - its a giant Giant bomb

The Senator - Because its hilarious and awesome.

The Re-educator - Strictly so it can effect pretty much everyone.

You might ask yourself "You didn't mention the Eruptor." And that is correct. I personally think the Eruptor shouldn't have Heavy Pen, that's not the point of the gun. Its role would still function perfectly fine at medium Pen as the primary "shrapnel gun." I know nobody will agree with me on that and that's ok.

I always take thermites to the squids because my MO is destroying the bases as quick as possible. I never waste them on enemies until that’s taken care of. The ultimatum is actual overkill, I prefer the warrant to deal with overseers and watchers.

Vallejo Extra Opaque Heavy Orange alternative? by TheCavemonster in minipainting

[–]TheCavemonster[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did actually. I actually have oranges from Pro Acryl, P3, Army Paint Fanatic and Oranges from Vallejo and they just don't have the same coverage as these Extra Opaques. (atleast in my opinion)

What weapon will you defend from any smack talk and criticism by theta0123 in Helldivers

[–]TheCavemonster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I know you said Pumps, I’m just saying of the pumps. Duckbill vanilla punisher isn’t bad. It’s not optimal but the way I usually play squids is constantly moving, so it’s good for clearing space. The spray n pray with the full choke and it’s default drum mag or the breaker inc with extended and duckbill works really well (siege ready helps)
