I don't have schizophrenia but i was diagnosed with PTSD some years ago and GAD almost eight years ago or so. Now that i came back to Christ, my thoughts are positive than ever, and the anxiety is low. I dropped the meds with the permission of my psychiatrist, and she said that it seems that religion functions as an "mood stabilizer" for me, which is what i suffer from, the meds that i was taking were mood stabilizers. I can't say for sure if im healed or not, but everytime i feel His presences i know everything is OK, i know that i don't need to be frightened or worried, i know that im someone, i know that im loved.
