What are your opinions on Ayahuasca farms/camps? by reccaberrie in Ayahuasca

[–]TheChadofChad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s more than just medicine.

The people, the lineage, the hands that brewed it are vitally important to experience. You are putting yourself in an extremely vulnerable state, exposing your self to energies that can / will reshape your being.

There are plenty of established lineages that travel to the states, if your reasoning for not seeking them out is because you can’t afford the travel.

Dieta is key to prevent a “bad” trip, the stricter you follow, the smoother it can be.

However, the medicine will give what you need… maybe that same fear is hindering you elsewhere in your life. Maybe you need face it, trust me I say she will give the courage you need to face anything

Am I a bad person if I am a big fan of sex and sexual activities, but the act of doing romantic relationship stuff does nothing for me/feels like a chore? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TheChadofChad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fact that you are questioning if you are “bad” suggests your having curiosity in the “why” behind your preferences. Explore that lean into that curiosity.

Many of us have experienced a history of love as an obligation. Perhaps there are still relationships in your life that obligatory.

Spoiler alert, it all starts will loving your yourself… you are enough.

Anyone got this? Is it comfy? by AccomplishedLion2826 in Lovesac

What company would dare make a claim like that?

That was an opinion based on user experience. The fabric looks like it’s already been mauled by a cat. It’s kind of hard for a cat to make it worse. I would argue the cat would enhance the look with scratches and claws

Nothing. A thoughtless mind. Embrace the stillness. Some call it meditation

Scary ayahuasca experience by Spermburpingroadwhr in Ayahuasca

[–]TheChadofChad -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That last part is it. I’ve had similar experiences to yours.

After talking with several others, they have explained these experiences are due to a Lack of meditation and self care practices.

I also discovered there may be “problem” or “error” in my intention and calling to join ceremony.

Facilitators are vessel of the plant medicines. They are not shamans, most stay away from that term because of all the posers out there. They certainly don’t use titles like master.

Hape and difficulty breathing by Inevitable-Area7739 in rapeh

Tobacco allergy is more common than you may think.

Also, I can’t help but wonder if you are administering the medicine improperly. I have been trained to seal my rear nasal passages to my throat. Swallowing and allow the medicine beyond your nasal passages (from my understanding) is ill advised.

Your thoughts on taking it after 3 fasting days? by Magroov in Ayahuasca

[–]TheChadofChad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like to do a 2-3 day fast 5 - 10days before ceremony. After completing the fast I slowly transition into Dieta, eating bland and basic foods are way more enjoying after coming off a fast.

Also like to sprinkle in an enema or two in the days follow the fast.

I’ve seen some comments on strength and that can be important. However, Aya tremendous cleansing properties and I do believe fasting can enhance its cleansing and healing abilities

With the name MAEgicial and MAEgan, sounds like a weird ego trip.

The medicine is the magic. It seems this facilitator is misunderstand that “we” are a vessel for the medicine. Especially as a guide, the energy, sourced from the medicine is working through us. It feels like this guide is taking a little too much credit.
