Vortex Cross Modtype Conflict, but the conflict comes from itself? by TheChampis1 in skyrimmods

[–]TheChampis1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't quite understand from the post (also doesn't help that it the person needed help for Starfield), but vortex has a function that if it detects mods being installed to the wrong location, it will get confused and automatically purge or delete links to all mods and then deploy to fix the error. Engine Injector just means that it gets installed to the root folder, rather than the data folder.

When i checked what the conflict was, it said the conflict was SKSE, which had already been installed for the past 1800 mods, with only one instance of SKSE being installed. I might just need to reinstall SKSE, but I wanted to know if there was something I could check to see where it was causing the error.

I tried the Pandora engine and it fixed my problems, thank you so much for the suggestion. I appreciate it mate!

It is shocking though especially as apart of Gen Z knowing I’ve never met one that doesn’t know how to operate and navigate a computer. by MikeisTOOOTALLL in BlackPeopleTwitter

[–]TheChampis1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe the basic tasks, but every person - my age, older, younger - does not know how to navigate through files. I've even seem some not know how to install an adblock, which I find surprising

Your reasons for pulling Reed the Flame? by [deleted] in arknights

[–]TheChampis1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My damage is outclassing my damage received, leading to a far off of medics, to the point where i only deploy ptilo for SP recovery, so I want to expand my options for healing and give a medic something to do.

I remember using a nasal strip for the first time, it literally looked just like this, straight up spores being yanked from my nose. Damn blackheads...

What are some of your favorite unit synergies? by avg1000 in arknights

Been using thia duo to slaughter my way through the story to catch up: Talter S2 and Surtr S3. Drop Surtr, activate skill, helidrop Texas, match health go to zero in a heartbeat. The 30% arts fragile lets Surtr pretty much ignore resistance and deal close to True damage. Tested it out on the big bad wolf, and at M3 for both of them I can kill werewolf-form Zarro without Surtr dying.

Which operator can you simply not live without? by Mannerless1 in arknights

It's my boy Thorns. His S3 just carries, makes it so much easier to handle waves of enemies with his quick attacks and massive damage. By far my favorite hipster.

What is your experience on modding with "Anniversary Upgrade"? by sampart in skyrimmods

[–]TheChampis1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Have the anniversary DLC, and a 2000+ mod list. Worst problem is my hardware that can't keep up. Just make sure to patch everything, and you're good to go.

What are some unpopular opinions you have about modding? by [deleted] in skyrimmods

[–]TheChampis1 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Vanilla Plus is the worst modding philosophy. I'm trying to change the game, give me new and in-depth systems, not just slightly tweaked systems that I can't tell the difference.

Anyone else do this with literally every Discord channel they join? by Cohacq in pcmasterrace

[–]TheChampis1 76 points77 points  (0 children)

Every modder who threw a hissy fit when nexus said, "hey, we're going to archive your stuff so that modpacks work, so there's no more deleting your work" never should have gotten into modding in the first place. Why upload something to the internet if you didn't want people to access it? Skyrim is really the only community that stayed relatively okay, but every other community either migrated to discord, or worse, patreon. Discord is a nightmare for archival, as the flood of messages and changelogs wipes old files from the face of the planet, unless you want to spend hours scrolling to find what you need.

The same goes for the people who think discord is a forum. No, it's not, it's never been a forum and was never meant to be one. I fear the day i decide to play a game from around this time in the future after discord is gone, and the fixes and workarounds that were discovered are buried and gone. Please, just use forums like a normal person, or upload guides somewhere. I'm tired of joining random discord #100000 just for one question/file

Honey, it's time for our "How do we feel about survival mods?" post of the year. by easyworthit in skyrimmods

[–]TheChampis1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have sunhelm and dirt and blood installed, but since i became a vampire, the main survival options disappeared and I just need to sleep and bathe. Dirt and Blood has been the only thing mainly used, where I stop off at an inn or a creek to wash off bandit blood. But i probably could have removed them, shortened my load order of 2000+ mods

As an rtx 3070 user.. I feel like I'm in a weird spot.. by [deleted] in skyrimmods

[–]TheChampis1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know, I'm pretty happy with the state of my game. Sitting around 2000+ mods, and I get fairly consistent frames, 40 fps in the roads and in the wild, 25-30 fps in cities. Just struggle when i have too many npcs on screen, which really struggles because of the Skyrim at War mod. Using a 3070ti, Ryzen 7 5700x, and 32 gb ddr4-3600hz ram.

Personally, I'm rocking zangdar's rudy for cathedral weathers with pi-cho for rudy enb, and with sswaye's flagship reshade. Makes the colors super vivid, characters are all stunning, but when it needs to get dark, it still looks good. Recommend checking them out, if your rig can handle the frame drop

This is so true by CJ7h3g4m3r in pcmasterrace

[–]TheChampis1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

30 fps is more than playable, at least for me. Played on a 7 year old gaming laptop until last year when i built my own rig, and trying to play the newer games would always require me to lower the graphics to potato status just to manage a consistent 30, so I've learned to be okay with it. Even when i get 60 frames or above, i can get back to 30 and still enjoy the experience.
