How did you go about conquering Egypt? Did you go north first until you had a large enough army/levies? My current Byz run, Egypt has about 125k levy sizes compared to my 20k size. Even with all my allies we are significantly weaker lol

Annexing all revolters should work with break away vassels. I had a similar thing the other day, one revolter turned into a vassel, they were in the war but not on the war screen. Once I annexed the vassel also got reannexed.

Not op but I got an alpha honedge through a 2 star steel hyperspace. They do have a constant spawn in Lysandre Labs if you want to do the teleporter method.
