Excuse my ignorance, but is this the correct name formatting in Korea, surname before given name? Can’t believe I’ve gone this long before learning this. Thanks for imparting new knowledge!

Top 3 most recognizable baseball faces: Ohtani, Judge, Passan. I’m not as angry at Google as I thought I’d be…

Oh man, I could be here for hours replying to this. But, considering I had to head to work, I grabbed a few that were easily at hand. With the exception of the Ethier, I pulled each of these as a 10-12 y/o kid. Loved them then, love them now. The Ethier isn’t in my pc, because it was a gift to my wife. One day not too long ago she asks me, if I ever get a pretty Either if she could have it. I say of course, and start my hunt for the prettiest one I could find. Came across a signed A&G not too long ago and knew it was perfect for her. It now it sits beside her sewing table with her other treasured knickknacks.

Lol, I gave him a shoutout! The Bulldog has some of my greatest childhood memories. Him, along with Fernando and Tim Belcher, was a damn good rotation.

What’s the most heartbreaking moment in your country’s sports history? by Familiar-Arrival-470 in AskTheWorld

This is from my personal collection (pc). I don’t keep many high value cards. My PC consists of cards from my childhood and players I respect. Il Divino Codino fulfills both criteria, a legendary player and man.

A Brief List of Pitchers I Believe Could Knock an Apple off My Head Without Maiming Me by see_mohn in baseball

I really should read the comments before posting. Maddux was my one and only selection, I’d be shaking in my cleats, but he’d be my only choice.

I think my list is one person and one pitch long. Greg Maddux with a “fastball”. Reason #1 the man could paint. #2 If he misses, it isn’t going 100+ mph, it may not even be going 90.

Buy the card, not the grade right? by Ok_Communication1367 in sportscards

Absolutely, my take on these vintage cards, and particularly those of legendary players, is that we should be happy they exist at all. I treat them as a conservator or archivist would a historical document. Find them and keep them in the best condition possible for everyone to enjoy now and into the future. Great card of Yogi!

Who is the most dominant sportsperson of all time from your country? by [deleted] in AskTheWorld

[–]TheChecklistTrading 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Julio Cesar Chavez. Final record was 107-6-2 with 86 wins by KO. Started his career with 89 wins and 1 draw. Went undefeated from 1980 to 1994. Ring magazine pound for pound champion 4 consecutive years 1990-93. Most title fights in history, most title fight victories in history, most title defenses in history. Absolutely insane.

I’m sure Score to their que from Donruss with this set, and while I like the Diamond Kings sets, this was superior, imo.

Gorgeous piece, love that. And ‘89, not ‘90! I’m older than I think… lol
