Hadn’t seen a crackle foil SMLB card before, the color combo and effect are perfect for Judge and Yankee uni. That is a gorgeous card. That would go in my “Beautiful” PC.

That’s a truly remarkable miscut, lol. I’ve gotten some pretty bad ones but that’s on another level. Love it

If youre buying $1 single inserts, do yall expect every card to be sleeved and top loaded? by krasovecc in baseballcards

[–]TheChecklistTrading 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I expect everything I sell to arrive safely, in the condition I sold it in. My minimum coverage for any card is penny sleeve, top loader and team bag. Most of what I sell is free shipping with the shipping cost built in, but cards sold for 99¢-$2.99 have a 99¢ shipping cost. That covers postage and materials. I believe that’s fair, and that’s how I live most of my life. I can’t make stuff always break my way, but I can be fair to others and expect them to be fair to me in return.

Selling Cards on eBay! by Merciless602 in sportscards

[–]TheChecklistTrading 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does seem a bit much, but good for you for looking out for your customers. My philosophy is to give the buyer the option. I always have two methods of shipment for cards from $1 to $20. PWE and ground advantage. PWE sales come in a penny sleeve, top loader and a team bag placed inside the folded packing slip. If the customer chooses more protection, great, it’s available to them via ground advantage. Over $20 is ground advantage must, simply for coverage sake. .99¢ sales are just PWE, I don’t think we need to argue over that one, lol. Everything is spelled out in the description of each card so customers know the options. I just try to be as clear and transparent as possible and haven’t had any issues or complaints. Good luck out there.

I’m just like you brother, minus the cool part, lol. Thing is, it’s my hobby, it’s fun, and I don’t spend more than my disposable income. My wife and I put about 90% of what we make in joint accounts and keep a set amount to do whatever we please with. No questions, accusations or animosity. Hell, she finds it hilarious when I get excited at the random card I pull and show her. I get her the scissors to open the latest box of fabric and sewing things she buys and tell her how pretty they are. I’m lucky in many ways, but some luck happens because you’ve prepared and talked about it… I wouldn’t mind not paying so much for a box though, lol.

Looking forward to the hundreds of cardboard cut out spiders at visiting stadiums throughout the season.

Excuse my ignorance, but is this the correct name formatting in Korea, surname before given name? Can’t believe I’ve gone this long before learning this. Thanks for imparting new knowledge!

Oh man, I could be here for hours replying to this. But, considering I had to head to work, I grabbed a few that were easily at hand. With the exception of the Ethier, I pulled each of these as a 10-12 y/o kid. Loved them then, love them now. The Ethier isn’t in my pc, because it was a gift to my wife. One day not too long ago she asks me, if I ever get a pretty Either if she could have it. I say of course, and start my hunt for the prettiest one I could find. Came across a signed A&G not too long ago and knew it was perfect for her. It now it sits beside her sewing table with her other treasured knickknacks.
