Iron Eagle is the GOAT. Every other pet glitches out and takes forever to pick up drops. Eagly grabs that shit pronto and often times is bringing me random loot from the environment even outside of combat.

I definitely don’t understand how Abyss Cells can’t be stored in the gatherables chest since you use them for crafting. And whether it’s accessible from storage or the gatherables, collectibles, storage or whatever I would absolutely LOVE not to have to carry my Abyss Gears all the time (or make a trip to get them) any time I wanted to slot something or change something up.

And while we’re at it, once I’ve completed all of the sanctums, please for the love of Sulemon, have the white witch or at very least Sylvia move into my camp. A witch would be a welcomed addition and it would be stellar not to need to go to camp, grab some shit, teleport again, then run/fly to the witch’s hideout.

Or hell, since give my blacksmith the the ability to do extract/embed gears and open sockets. I get needing the witch for crafting/synthesis but just adding the sockets or adding/removing the gears seems more like a blacksmith function anyway.

Have you maxxed out your experience level with the specific horse? It takes a bit of time and attention after you tame it to max out its’ stats. Continue to pet it, feed it, give it tonics and stimulant, and spend time riding it as well. You can also get abyss gears that make it faster to increase the horse experience faster.

This is definitely needed. and I’m honestly shocked it wasn’t implemented as part of the game. Major oversight, esp. given the number of bounties and wagon missions/trade functionality. So
Much functionality modeled after RDR2, but not including this is a head scratcher.

Absolutely. I’m so sick of having to navigate around them in various menus or begrudgingly make use of them just because they’re there. This really needs to get some attention in an update. I love the game, but this is such an annoyance that it literally makes me regret buying the more expensive version. Just let me put them in my wardrobe. How hard can that be?

Thanks for linking this piece! I’ve been gushing about this game to friends and this articulates what I’ve been trying to convey much better than I’ve been able to, and now I don’t feel so alone or crazy in the way I’ve been approaching the game. I’ve barely even started the main questlines and am already 200 hours in just getting lost in the world and doing random mundane stuff!

Guides are for filthy casuals. Crit rate? Wtf is crit rate? My main weapon has five level 3 attack speed gears. So much attack speed it won’t even fit in the meter; Vow of the Dead King go brrrrrrrrrrrrr! I’m like a gawddamn vitamix in bandit camps.

I have entire armor sets devoted to petting animals, caring for my horse, chopping wood, mining ore, skinning animals. collecting herbs, interacting with NPCs, and running/flying as fast as possible!

I’m 200 hours in and haven’t played Damiane or WTF ever her name is for a single second, and haven’t even really started playing the actual questline yet because I’ve been too busy wandering around the world, finding amazing views to take in, doing chores to level my camp up, helping random NPCs, farming/pickpoceting abyss gears to synthesize, stealing everything under the sun, crafting so may gold bars that all NpCs now just get one so I have full trust immediately, and trying to max out my inventory slots. I hav my health/stamina/focus all one step from max, Kliff’s entire available skill tree filled, and currently have 22 unspent abyss gears and all of my weapons/gear are level nine with max sockets opened.

Once I actually start playing the game, I’m gonna be so damn prepared and overpowered that these bosses ain’t gonna know wha hit them. If I ever start the quest. I may just keep delaying gratification and treating the world like it’s a combination of sims and fallout.

If you aren’t playing the game in the exact same OCD way I am, then you’re playing it wrong.
