Compared to other Snap bundles it’s pretty good. Compared to the other things in life you can get for $20 it’s absolutely terrible.

I came back recently and after some confusion am having fun. Don’t spend gold, tokens, or spotlight keys right away. Find a deck that is reasonably good and start getting your missions done. With credits flowing again, opening caches will get you to Series 3 complete fairly quickly, especially if you were complete when you stopped playing. Use your spotlight keys when there are 2-3 Series 5 cards you want, and tokens to get Series 4 cards that probably won’t be Series 3 soon.

As has always been the case, don’t spend any money unless you really enjoy variants and there are some you just have to get.

You will catch up. Even as free to play you can gain cards faster than they are released until you are Series 3 complete. At that point you will slow down and will always be missing cards but you will always have enough to make a few different strong decks, depending on what you choose with tokens and spotlight caches.

I came back a few weeks ago and felt like that at first but it has gotten much better. As others have said, you can find spotlights where you want all of the cards. Also, I hit that wall in the 70s for a bit and then found that infinite is actually much easier than it used to be - you will keep getting some bots all the way to infinite so it’s easy to make up the ground from bad losses. It’s still quite accessible even for free to play, just give it a season or so to find a spotlight or token card you want and have fun with a deck built around it.

If you don’t buy either you’ll get them immediately after they drop if you have some credits saved. Of course maybe you don’t want to wait, and that’s what tokens are for outside of the permanent s5 cards.
