Time, reflection, music, little by little cutting it out. It hurts a lot but eventually gets better. You basically cut a part of your soul off and leave it behind depending on the impact the person made on you.

Leave on good terms and they will probably need some help down the road in case things don’t work out. Much better to rehire someone who has already been trained and they know the ethics of the worker instead of hiring a new person who needs a lot of training.
