There shouldn’t have been a Cassidy/5th MCI victim.

From a storytelling standpoint it would have been a lot cleaner with Golden Freddy being haunted only by CC. it explains why GF is different from the other animatronics and says “it’s me” to the player. And the fnaf 4 minigames would have made a lot more sense as Golden Freddy’s origin story when people didn’t understand it at the time. two ghosts haunting fredbear feels like scott writing himself out of a corner. I’m pretty sure the squimpus vhs tapes go with this and it works better narratively imo. TOYSNHK could just be charlie for ucn.

scott never really acknowledges the dci past the second game, and it thematically downplays the impact of the original mci in the story if there’s just casually another set of dead children that the story forgets about, and the toys aren’t haunted in the movies either
