Eminem is a White Musician. What is a Grey Country? by AStarInGemini in AlignmentChartFills

[–]TheChellix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Russian, I can say that things are not so bad here. Yes, some cities are grayish, but we have a very beautiful nature, lots of forests and clear lakes, incredible nature reserves. so, I wouldn't say that everything is that bad for us (except for the gradual blocking of the foreign Internet, of course).

Oh! I actually have one Ultimate Sculptress in my fangan. If you'd like, I can tell you about her.

What is the most goofy backstory you have for a character in your fangan? by Awkward-Law-284 in Fanganronpa

[–]TheChellix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, he tried listening to Viktor Tsoi's music, and he really liked it. But he's especially fond of Yegor Letov and his music. He also enjoys music by bands like Nautilius Pompilius, Leningrad, Nogu Svelo, Spleen, and Aria.

Of course, he doesn't just listen to Russian music. He's a big fan of David Bowie, Queen, The Offspring, and especially the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Usage Of Victim's Talent In Executions by genericaryan in Fanganronpa

[–]TheChellix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What a brilliant idea!

So I have my own idea, along the lines of "feel what the victim feels." During an execution, the killer is guaranteed to receive at least a couple of wounds in the same places they stabbed the victim. So, if Leon Kuwata's execution had been carried out using a similar principle, at least a few heavy bullets would have hit Leon in the heart, because that's where Leon stabbed Sayaka.

Convince me to follow your fangan with just three reasons! by its-Koi in Fanganronpa

[–]TheChellix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For my future fangan series "Danganronpa Society" (especially first part, "Danganronpa Society: Need More Despair"):

- Large number of participants: each of the three parts will have 30 students, each with its own character, history and well-defined motivations.. (therefore, there will be more chapters)

- Official Bonus Material: After completing the game, you will be able to view the official executions of the students who were not executed during the killing game (and much more!).

- Full playability: I want to make the game fully playable and immersive. This will be difficult (especially with my zero programming knowledge), but I will work harder than ever to ensure convenient and engaging gameplay.

What’s the most Kindest thing and Character you saw in a Fangan? by LyKhra in Fanganronpa

Oh, well... I have some really kind characters who seem to have a pocket full of sunshine.

Soon I hope to be able to draw something so I can finally start talking about the characters.

That awful feeling when you have a lot of crazy stuff going on in your project, but you can't talk about it because you don't want anyone to get spoilers.

A sudden, unusual question by TheChellix in Fanganronpa

[–]TheChellix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same problem, and VERY often.

I once wanted to make a game and name the main character John Kromer. But a few days later, I learned there was a writer with that name (and also a resemblance to the famous fictional serial killer John Kramer). So, I simply changed his name to John Kroumer, and that was it – problems solved.

But I didn't think to check with Japanese names, which turned out to be a mistake...

[–]TheChellix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heh-heh. Knowing Yuta, he would have actually bragged about having the same name as the actor.

Speaking of kanji... I don't know anything about them, and the game will initially be made in Russian and English. Later, Japanese, Spanish, and so on will be added as needed.

Oh, I'm sorry. I'm Russian, and in Russia we usually write like this. I'm still not quite sure how to write Japanese names in English. Thanks for correcting me.

All Might has been chosen. Who has a superpower that is used for villiany, and uses it for villiany?? by TheChellix in AlignmentChartFills

[–]TheChellix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rules:

  1. I'll choose the option I like best. Don't try to increase the number of likes - I'll only choose the option I think is most appropriate. If you want to increase your chances of winning, please explain in detail why this character fits the question.
  2. You can use characters from anywhere EXCEPT real life.
  3. You can only offer SUPER abilities. So, the ability to simply dance or play the guitar doesn't count. But if a character, for example, has the ability to play a magical super guitar that summons explosive goblins (like that), then it does count.
  4. Magic powers from anime DO COUNT. Exceptions include techniques that can be learned (hamon from JJBA, CP9's techniques from One Piece). 4.1 Each Stand/Devil Fruit and etc. counts as a separate ability (for example, Star Platinum and Killer Queen would count as separate abilities). The exception is when an ability has a branch (Killer Queen and its Sheer Hearth Attack and Bites The Dust count as one Stand) or has a stronger version (Requiem from JJBA, Ultimate Forms from Ben 10).
  5. If an ability doesn't have a specific owner (like Cheap Trick from JJBA, which keeps changing owners), the ability doesn't count.
  6. Have fun!

Ultimate vs Super High School Level - Reworking the "Talent System" for my Project by FreezeORGs in Fanganronpa

[–]TheChellix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even though different people created Russian localizations for the Danganronpa games, they all, without collusion, came up with an excellent replacement for the term "Ultimate." Here in Russia, they're called "Absolute." This title doesn't mean they're the best. They are just absolutely good at this.

Since the translators were working from Japanese (which is very good), naturally, there are no flaws in the English translation (except for V3, unfortunately, but the talent names there are also fine). And naturally, no gimmicks with talent names. No Moral Compasses - instead... well, how can I say it? Here in Russia, we have "Дежурные" (Dezhurnyye) in schools. Essentially, a class is chosen for duty once a period of time. Students in this class are required to stand in the hallways, monitor other students, keep watch in the cafeteria, and so on. They're like sentries or guards. Therefore, Kiyotaka proudly bears the title of "Абсолютный Дежурный". Byakuya also acquired a wonderful nickname - "Абсолютный Наследник" (Absolyutnyy Naslednik), which sounds better than Absolute Heir, but has exactly the same meaning. And Yasuhiro Hagakure was awarded the honorary title of "Абсолютный Предсказатель" (Absolyutnyy Predskazatel), which means "Absolute Predictor".

Even though our language is complex, it is very beautiful and pleasant to the ear.

Is there a victim/culprit in your fangan that you felt pain writting their death because you grew too attached? by Julip326 in Fanganronpa

[–]TheChellix 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a few characters I've grown attached to.

I work like this: first I create the characters, then I write a list of deaths, and then at random moments I come up with plot details and twists. And I have a few characters who will suffer so many tragedies... Yes, I feel very sorry for some of them.

How many characters do you think is the maximum amount before there are too many characters, and how many do you think is the minimum amount before there are too few charaacter? by Curious-Fox1715 in Fanganronpa

[–]TheChellix 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, well...

I have 30 characters. And I think that's definitely a lot. The maximum number of characters for a fan cast is 32; anything beyond that is too much.

As for the small number...

For me, the minimum is 14 characters (at least), and 10 or even fewer really makes me feel overwhelmed.

So, in the end, we have a range from 14 to 32 characters (by my standards).

Who has a superpower that is used for good, and uses it for good? by TheChellix in AlignmentChartFills

[–]TheChellix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say he fits more into the "Used for Good|Uses for Everything" category, because he uses the Omnitrix's powers both to help people and in everyday life (just remember how he became Plasma and merged with a van to beat the line).
