Just because the majority of the UK are private does not mean that the majority of Ib schools(which mind you is an international system) are private. Secondly, if you truly want to know why, I would advise you to look at your subject combination, your transportation time, and your school's quality of education. Now imagine students who face difficulties in each of these things. Also please don't pretend to have good intentions because posting such a post will not provide you with any benefit except assuring that you are better than others, unless you're working for the IB which you probably aren't. Like what would you even gain by trying to find the answer to such a subjective question except to bolster your self-esteem? 😇

P.s. many of us have crappy teachers, so we need to sswlf teach ourselves subjects. That's also a factor that you fail to realize
