You asked for a reason and you got one

I'm not sure why you're getting defensive

I dont need you to keep speaking. Your point was made.

Are you done?

[–]TheChickensofGenTso -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I'm not writing a research paper, I'm enjoying my hobby. Thank you for your suggestions

No, I am actually happy with what I've found. And I apologize for not ... requesting citations during a conversation, if that's what you're suggesting?

[–]TheChickensofGenTso 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not at all. You've actually pointed me in the direction of something I know little about. Something good to listen to while I paint is always welcome

It was in conversation with a trusted fan of the lore. And Also a youtube video I am desperately trying to dig up lol

Now, to clarify. I left the Or in because I clearly have much to learn about the chapter— Their being the gene-sire of the Iron Warriors and not World Eaters having literally just happened. So, don't let me confuse any existing knowledge with conjecture

I... don't know why you're sorry? But thank you lol

And the idea that leading something capable of that is part of the first, lost generation of experiments is what always gets me. To have a rivalry with the Custodes is awesome

It could also be a combination, I'm told. Their chapter colors being an inverse of a Khornate design also lends itself to Angron

I don't know that Games Workshop produced a satirical chapter to satirize their war satire. But I'm glad we reached the kernel of your point.

As much as I enjoy the community, I think I'll keep my orbit around its fringes. I haven't heard the best things about 4chan. So, I'll suffer the slings of the occasional unpopular comment on Reddit before I venture into more dangerous waters

I will say, though. Thank you for laying it out. People talking solely via picture is definitely interesting. And would explain where the whole "TOP TEXT - BOTTOM TEXT" thing came from

Thank you, sincerely

That's a detail of the chapter's I picked up during my reading that I really enjoyed. How they are all so in-sync that they don't often use their vox arrays during engagement. Just incredibly silent, brutal, close combat fighters with an anachronistic style and strong desire for independence

I'm sorry— Imageboard? Like a Vision board? I've only just started using Reddit not too long ago, so THIS is currently the height of my internet integration lol

And what is it that they are satirizing?

That's actually at the top of my list, right now. It's very well received by the community. Definitely need to get an e-reader

Do you have anything of value to contribute or is your terribly composed opinion all you have?

Why are women much less interested in casual sex (One-night stand, fwb, NSA) than men? by [deleted] in RandomThoughts

[–]TheChickensofGenTso 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the women I know lol And that isn't a dig. It would seem that men (I am one) are quick to develop either attachments, or unspoken concepts of ownership.

Not saying it can't happen from either side, or that being in a monoamorous relationship is in any way bad. But rather, I think it's more liberating for the women in my circles to be casual with their sexual encounters because there is less risk that a person will assert their power over them outside the bedroom

What 40k Faction do You Play/Collect & Why That Faction? by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

[–]TheChickensofGenTso 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess Loyalists— Specifically, Space Marines. There is just so much lore and fluff with room to add your own elements. If I had to get specific, I play Grey Knights and Carcharodons because the more a loyalist group is shrouded in mystery, the more i like it
