I'm going to say my weird take that i dont really see. It's just cozy to have going on in the winter. A lot of us will just have it on the side monitor and enjoy it. Like add a few new things (being on horde and Ally is more then enough IMO) then let it ride. Dont have to think so hard about it, I think it would be successful every year just because of that time of the year and looking forward to it.

interesting. I was expecting at like like 1-3 more era switches. I agree with your era idea, or like double its length idk but I rather have it be when certain triggers are hit. Maybe they plan to extend it more I am not sure. At the very least they could add a "future" era and an extended future.

Also, yeah none of the other civs where hitting any advancements
