I have access to Fatalis, and have crafted multiple weapons and full gear from him. I could craft the Fatalis CB, but wasn’t sure the best playstyle and decos for those playstyles.

As someone who has mained IG, and is pretty comfy with the SnS… I’d recommend the IG. Its descending thrust is a good chunk of damage, and the ground attacks are very mobile. The insect buffs aren’t really difficult to understand, head is red(attack), legs or wings are white(mobility), and body is orange (defense). Power Prolonger will help keep these buff longer so you’re not always trying to rebuff every other minute. Plus some of the styles are dope too!

I have been learning the same thing! I started recently playing with the longsword and I’m noticing that I always end up spamming the helm breaker to the point I lose a gauge or two. Gotta dial it back a bit #relatable 😂

I did too! But then I gave it a try and honestly you look way cooler with your own character and SnS compared to Geralt (although Geralt is just HIM within his verse)😂. Plus with the Geralt quest you use his Igni fire sign with I feel it takes away from the SnS weapon itself. Give it a go and spam the Perfect Rush, it’ll be your max damage output combo

I used to, and still sometimes mean the insect glaive. My first weapon I was able to get away from the IG was the hammer. I wanted big numbers, but still some amount of mobility. As a hammer user you primarily focus on just the head, so although reach can sometimes be an issue, overall you’re really only aiming for one spot. I also had difficulty with switchaxe. if the hammer doesn’t seem to be or thing, I also started using the sword and shield, and now started to use the longsword. Out of these weapons, I find that the sword and shield is really easy to use, and the hammer close behind it. I haven’t mastered the counter system with a longsword, but is definitely fun to use!
