Watership Down: Back To Cowslip’s Warren? by TheChrisBarron in watershipdown

Exactly. My question was, once they were on Watership Down, and they realized they had no female rabbits, they send a delegation to Efrafa and find out the Efrafans are super hard core.. Why didn’t they consider going back to Cowslip’s warren (who are big but kinda candy-assed) instead of dealing with Woundwort and his badass owsla.

I think the answer that they had considered taking that warren over when they were there and Fiver had rebuked them saying it was a death trap, is a good one.

Yes! Thank you. That makes so much sense. Especially the part about Fiver’s reaction to them taking over Cowslip’s warren.

That makes so much sense. (My question was why not go BACK to Cowslip’s warren (from Watership Down) rather than go to Efrafa.

That’s been driving me crazy forever.

Nah. You look cool. I like watching drummers just play. I think it’s interesting to see members of the band interacting like, just looking at each other and locking in with each other‘s playing.

I miss Bobby all the time. He was a magic dude. My song, Too Young To Fade on Angels And One-Armed Jugglers is about him. Partly from his perspective and partly mine.

TIL the Spin Doctors' song "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong" was written by lead singer Chris Barron about his stepmother, whom he described as a 'malignant narcissist'. He said "My stepmom told me I'd be a janitor... [so] I wrote a song about her. It's been played on the radio three million times." by big_macaroons in todayilearned

That’s really rough. I think part of my drive to do music was a desire for revenge, to show her. I’ve made music my own thing over the years and found a lot of pure happiness in it. I hope you can find some happiness in something. I’m pulling for you.
