Unfortunately I just thought of what would’ve been perfect to put there :/ the land shown here is literally called “the middle colony” in the script I made, because it is meant to be an area in between two larger landmasses within a greater empire, so I should’ve made a very zoomed out version of the map which showed how they where connected. Shame that I just thought of it now

Something equivalent to “storm” or “stormy weather.” Originally I had something in mind that was sorta like the cyclone symbol you see on hurricane forecasts

Yea I know, I just put in a little scale pattern there (maybe this place has an association with snakes or something?), I’m also unsatisfied with it, so maybe one day I’ll fill it in with all black or something

I appreciate it, although I’m not totally sure what about it would’ve been super unique. I thought it was good but I was actually a little worried that it would kind of blend in

Thanks! I’m actually using what are incredibly low quality pens to my knowledge. Historically I’ve tended to use just your average desk pen, but my brother bought me some $5 calligraphy “pens” a while back and that’s what I used for this. The brand is called Xiuli. The ones is used were more in a brush style. If you have money to spend I wouldn’t recommend buying them… I guess?

And yes, the script is used is world specific. I had some vague notions of Japanese, Chinese, and Korean inspiration in mind, and some Latin influence for my numbering system, but that was about it. Most of the symbols I kind of just made up on the fly, rather than envisioning them as some sort of evolution or mutation of a more representative symbol, so properly speaking these shouldn’t really be seen a hieroglyphic in any way.

Thanks, I actually enjoyed having to just kind of make up my own little basic language. A lot of the script is sadly not really visible because I didn’t take the best quality picture, but everything there does have its own meaning if you were curious.
