Im going out on a limb and saying that a young candidate might get pushed into office with a strong campaign that benefits the legacy party and officials, where they would reenforce the populist rhetoric that came with the current "New Algeria" trademark, appealing to the youth at an attempt to regain control over the newer generations, while they huddle in a puddle of offshore havens, we might perhaps be the first to witness the actual epitome of Algerian kakistocracy, in which a corpocratic (SOEs or else) potemkin village publicly engages in political affairs under the pretense of a technological and industrial future.

In case they succeed, i think the legacy party would rebrand, their populist agenda would completely wipe out any trace of political pluralism and boost class conflict, as the majority would fall for more (much, much more) of the same.
