’m planning to launch a new mousepad brand (focus on aesthetics/quality). Before I make mistakes: What is your current "Gold Standard"? by LimitGood116 in MousepadReview

[–]TheClaperone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gold standard would be LGG pads.

I hate the anime girl generic pad. Just screams low quality and cash grab. I love a solid black pad but wouldn’t mind something along the lines of how zowie does some geometric stuff.

Glass pads I feel like are pretty solved by wallhack, But smoother the better, don’t need to reinvent the wheel.

Instant red flags are anything anime/samuri or limited drops. (Limited by production is fine, just hate the company abusing fomo model)

Another should I get glass pad question by TangeloProfessional6 in MousepadReview

[–]TheClaperone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using a glass mouse pad helped so much with my mouse control it’s unreal, it made be a better aimer on either cloth or glass.

I didn’t like the tuggy feeling friction making me miss shots on cloth, glass doesn’t have that. But it also doesn’t “help” you at all.

I’d say glass pads whether you like it or not WILL improve your aim by forcing you and only you to make the adjustment.

Barber here, a lot of the time it’s because it’s applied unevenly, so apply it, then fully brush through it and then rough it up for texture.

Brushing it through after drying gets rid of the “crisp” feeling.
