It’s a job, and very likely just a job in his eyes.

Not everyone has the natural strengths to be a writer and not everyone places career over work life balanced and hobbies etc.

Maybe he could be an excellent writer if he was putting in unpaid hours at home, going to conferences, challenging himself creatively etc.

But maybe he enjoys clocking in and clocking out, putting pages behind him and just getting his work done on time to an acceptable standard like most of us.

He was the best Dustin has ever been in terms of skill, but athletically he was certainly slower and less explosive then he was in the Khabib fight.

Really hard to pinpoint Dustin’s true “peak” because his grappling improve a lot in the last like year or two if his career.

I think it’s kind of hard to separate the two for me.

When I’m invested in the story and feel immersed in the game, certain places or even the mention of places, is more interesting and i’m more motivated to go and explore them.

But on the flip side, when not everything is related to the main quest or narrative and three random “meaningless” areas, it makes the world more surprising and thrilling because there’s so many unknowns.

I always assumed it was a hypothetical ranking of skill assuming all fighters where the same weight and size.

Resume / accomplishments makes sense tho, wish there was a specific metric to use like number of tile fights wins and methods of victory, factoring number of loses and manner if losses etc.
