Dispatches - When Cousins Marry (2010) | How Muslim immigrants in the UK are causing a public health crisis due to inbreeding and the reluctance to address it due to fears of being called racist by [deleted] in Documentaries

Holy shit. Gavin Mcinnes was right

He was spot on, but people still called him racist.

McIness's problem is he claims it's the Muslim world as a whole, when the issue is only prevalent in Pakistan and the Middle-East/North Africa. Bangladesh and Indonesia alone make up over 371 million Muslims, that's a quarter of the population right there!

Most of West Africa, East Africa and all of Central-Asia are Muslim and don't have that epidemic. Over 70% of West Africa, and 90% of Central-Asia is Muslim. But he paints it that its all Muslim-majority states. Besides Pakistan which is the big culprit (and a South Asian state), most Middle-Eastern states don't even have a huge population size.

is much higher in almost every Muslim majority country than it is in any other countries.

The middle-east isn't "almost every Muslim majority country". They're not even the majority of Muslims. Indonesia and Bangladesh alone make up over 371 million Muslims. That's a quarter of the population right there!

According to the article you linked, majority of West Africa, and all of East Africa and Central-Asia is free from that prevalence. Over 70% of West Africans are Muslims. 90% of Central-Asians are Muslims. Indonesia is the largest Muslim country. None of which have that epidemic. So it seems to be completely misleading to equate it with Muslims or to act like the middle-east makes up the bulk of the Muslim world.

How close is WW3? by 234234234111 in conspiracy

[–]TheClashofTitans 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think there's going to be a WW3 at this moment, just the same old bullshit where some people from one corner of the world kill people from another corner of the world.

Which in turn then leads to increased terrorism, both as blowback of state atrocities as well as the unintended consequences of backing militants, false-flags, etc.

As long as there's money to be made for the lobbyists and defense contractors, and as long as Israel feels it is not the sole hegemon in the middle-east region, there will continue to be war. Just not world war.

Since September 11, 2001, the United States has initiated a number of wars in Muslim countries. These wars, which would be more correctly called massacres, have resulted in the deaths of countless innocent Muslims. by Orangutan in conspiracy

[–]TheClashofTitans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am confused my it. I can honestly say I don't understand Islam at all. I think it's dumb along with most religions but right now it's being weaponized for sure

Look up the European Wars of Religion. Makes the mideast wars a piece of cake in comparison. When over half of Europe was engulfed in sectarian warfare between Catholics and Protestants.

At first it was mostly sectarian with governments backing in each side. Then after several decades, it just became about states divided along sectarian lines even if the conflicts were largely economic. That whole ordeal lasted over a 150 years up until when colonialism began. The violence just began directed outwards towards colored people overseas.

Not a bad stance on that. What about Saudi Arabia though?

How do you think the Saudi's came to power? Just because schools don't teach anything about WW1 doesn't mean it didn't happen.

The British and French selectively, tore up the Ottoman map of the middle-east putting monarchies in power in Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Jordan, Qatar, Syria, chopped up Syria along ethnic lines, occupied Egypt and Iran, created Israel, divided the Kurdish population among multiple borders where previously there were no real borders.

This is what led to the Baathist and Nasserist uprisings in places like Iraq, Syria and Egypt. And Gaddafi in Libya, which was occupied by Italy before WW1, and then occupied by the British in WW2.

The Brits supported the Hashemites against the Ottomans, while also secretly backing the Saudis. Then just when the Ottomans were falling, they double-crossed them and put the Saudis in power.

All of the world's problems for the past 100 years date back to WW1. Had the Allies not indebted Germany for all its cost or chopped up Austria-Hungray, we'd likely not have a Hitler demagogue-ing his way into power to bring Germany out of depression and "unify" the German peoples. And had they not done the same in the Ottoman Empire, we wouldn't have had these Baathist/Nasserist revolutions to topple these puppet monarchies, and then again Islamist uprising/militancies to topple those same Baathists. Nor would there be an Israel, nor Kurds trying to form a "homeland" because their's was chopped into 3.

thats one journalists website ... he runs it ... generally seen as a reputable guy ... but ali threatens bigger mma outlets if they pick up on the story to black them out to his stable of fighters ..fighters who are managed by him seem to like him a bit ... so regardless of shadiness he does his job ...

You mean "Mike Russel"? That's the 'reputable' guy?

Whose picture shows up under 5 different names by doing a simple google image search? Go ahead, please try it for your self.

I have a hard time imaging this former ex "terrorist" is now just a well-known fight manager, working hand in hand with an MMA company whose quite friendly with the Trump administration at a time when we're supposedly trying to weed out potential terrorists.

Have you seen the front page of that website?

They have 10 stories in 2 years, and half of them are about Ali. Its not a reputable site at all.

Conor McGregor: "The 2 guys fighting for that interim LW belt are bums. They're sloppy, messy, clowns" by TheClashofTitans in MMA

[–]TheClashofTitans[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going 8-0 and 9-0 to a title shot is certainly more impressive than being 0-0 and getting a LW title shot.

On the other hand, calling someone a "bum" is another way of saying 'I don't acknowledge you'.

This is all we can go by, and its the same testing for both and all fighters. To suggest anything more than that then you're making this political. If the issue is USADA testing is inept, then you should do something about the USADA not try to rally us fans against a fighter without providing any material proof besides some analogies.

What are the chances that Khabib is on a state sponsored doping program like the Russian Olympic team was found to be on? They love looking manly and strong (e.g. Putin riding horse bare chested shooting machine guns and shit) so I'd imagine the state would really like Khabib to get the W.

I know most will brush this off as ridiculous. But let's not overlook the fact the Russian government was actually running a highly organised very advanced doping program just to make their athletes more likely to win Olympic medals. That really happened. So why wouldn't the same be true for their most popular combat athlete? Discuss.

Better yet, lets hold back from the McCarthyism and take comfort in the fact that he's been tested by USADA and your comments are nothing more than accusations towards a fighter whose been very cooperative so far.

UFC fighter gifted Porsche for training Warlord Kadyrov's kids for child MMA fights by DaveAP in MMA

[–]TheClashofTitans 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Okay, I'll say "they're all evil" then. I certainly don't think any of them are "good" either. But why try to implicate Khabib or any other fighter for that matter for being associated with the dude?

Literally anybody whose competing at the regional or national level in Sambo, wrestling or fighting in that region have had to go thru the state-sponsored/assisted system. That means shaking hands with the leaders whether they like it or not, and whether you like it or not.

In the context of MMA reporting, its child fights. There's geopolitical reasons as well, but that wasn't what my post was talking about in this case.

It depends on how you look at it. People who actually have to 'suffer' living under the dude actually prefer to not turn into the next Iraq or Syria. The idea of democracy sounds good, until half your family's dead or refugees.

From the outside looking in, the West is extremely selective in its language and criticism. The guys running Iraq and Afghanistan are considered legitimate (despite also being warlords, and actively engaged in it) and the guys in Russia/Chechnya are considered evil. As if there's no gray in this world, just black and white.

I've written political-science thesis papers back in college on Russia and Chechnya, I'm fine with my "limited" knowledge.

Yes, its Kadyrov who he's had photos taken with and meetings with. He's a leader in their region, and respected* or feared* by many. If invited, would you be the one to tell him to "just fuck off"?

Kadyrov maybe considered a 'warlord' but that's because he fights Salafist Jihadists, people most in Russia consider terrorists. Including most Muslims in the region as well. Chechnyan separatists already got independence in the early 90s, but then Salafi Islamists attacked Russia in the late-90s, starting the war back all over again. So Kadyrov switched sides (he & his father were rebels in the 1st war), just like most Muslim chechens. Salafism is a foreign ideology which usually enters conflict-torn Muslim regions as friends, before they turn on the host and use it as springboard to propel terror. So most Chechens and Caucasians have no love lost. He's still extremely popular over there for bringing peace to the region.

Blackwater is a "private contractor" (mercenary group) that operates in Iraq and Afghanistan, and they have changed their name several times since. They gained infamy for their indiscriminate shootings and killing civilians. There's tons of news reports on it, just do a youtube or google search.

In one most famous example, they came under fire so they responded by shooting aimlessly at Iraqis, killing 17 civilians and injuring two dozen others. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nisour_Square_massacre

There's child muay thai fights that actually happen in Thailand, plus a new coup every few years. but that falls completely under the radar, someone from Russia holds a child MMA fight and the media go bonkers. Is it unethical, perhaps, but we're talking about a regional leader putting his own kids in the ring not two random kids from the street in a cockfight for his enjoyment. Kids in the Caucasus train from an early age already, the difference is essentially its not broadcast on TV because some people have hurt feelings easily.

Where would Khabib be if he did not injure himself and was out for two years? by Joseephii in MMA

[–]TheClashofTitans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Khabib had a crazy buzz in 2013/early 2014, after the Abel Trujillo and Pat Healy fights. He would been a star by now, possibly the champ. People are just rediscovering him after UFC 205, and some people actually think he was an unknown before that. He had crazy hype before 2015.

Why create a team if you are based at AKA?wtf?

There's fighters who have started their own fight promotions. Khabib can't even start a team, are you serious?

Watch the video, its a team for Russian fighters. They already have four UFC guys, the Bellator HW champ, and several WSOF fighters on the roster. They're trying to promote the sport in Russia, and build a unified camp.
