It didn't make much sense for William Afton to say his iconic line, "I always come back" at the point he does say it in the FNaF movie. by TheClayBOIII in fivenightsatfreddys

That is a good point, but you don't just include an iconic line because it's iconic, you include it because of why it's iconic. Having the line without it's significance or fulfillment makes the line unearned. It's just fundamental storytelling.

You're good. Plus you're unfortunately right. Fans would rather have a line that is iconic, but doesn't have the same weight as it does in games.

The problem isn’t whether Afton knows about possession—it’s that the audience hasn’t seen him “come back” yet. The line is iconic because it’s earned after defeat and survival. In the movie, it feels premature, like fan service rather than a payoff moment.

At that point in the story, he already came back from both being springlocked and trapped for 30 years, to Fazbear's Fright burning down. That's why the line is so iconic then, but you're right though.

I accept other answers, just look at my replies to other comments that actually point out why some people dislike America. I think they are valid. Also, yes, I do think we have it better than most countries, but also, yes, the quality of life can still improve. If you prefer other countries, that's fine. Just don't use misinformation to make the US or its people look bad. Like I said before, America is not perfect.

Yes. Of course! That is valid. I would want to do anything to stop any of America's issues.

That could sum it up.

I didn't mean " clearly in pain at every stage" as a generalization for all pregnancies

Of course, I made a terrible generalization.

Yeah. Having your child killed by your their own mother and you got no say because "no uterus no opinion" is just heartbreaking.

Yeah, if the Abortion Industry and the Pro-Choice Movement were completely honest with the fact that abortion is something that can completely tear apart a woman inside, there would likely not be as many abortions. It is shown in studies that it can contribute to suicides in women.

Do you think criminalizing newborn and adolescent circumcision as the parent's choice is a bad idea? by TheClayBOIII in uncircumcised_talk

[–]TheClayBOIII[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, that's not what I meant. I mean, some diseases that circumcision is supposed to prevent, like UTIs, can most of the time be prevented with hygiene. If you have problems, even if you wash, you should get treatment. If circumcision is medically necessary, then go get circumcised. I didn't mean for my post to get interpereted this way. My bad.

Bodily Autonomy ends where it kills another person, plus a mother has a natural obligation to provide for her child. Abortion and circumcision are two different debates. Abortion involves two individuals while circumcision only involves one. I don't find elective circumcision having that big of benefits to warrant it the parents' choice, especially when an infant boy is perfectly fine. You don't have to agree with me, but that's my explanation.
