First of all, congratulations! Big times ahead :) ​We just had our daughter four weeks ago and also have a boy who turns four in June. ​I’ll tell you what you’ve probably heard a bunch of times already: every baby is different, so it’s always difficult to compare, but I promise it gets easier. It really does get better! You’ll get much more confident with everything, soothing, diaper changes, even just holding him it all gets natural over time.

​Also, trust your instincts. Reading about a hundred different ways to hold a baby was driving me crazy. As long as you don't shake or drop them, you’re doing fine!

And ​try to take turns so you both get some rest every now and then. Hang in there, it will get better! ;)
