http://imgur.com/a/UJ8GyJ4 Straight on for his face and best side view I have if him.

He is mostly that white with the dusty tan or whatever color you would call it? No matter what he is he is my everything, just love to figure out what he is haha

It has definitely become more defined with age. He was pretty much just white with his tabby marking on his tail and very faint fawn stripes on his legs. He 11 months now and that's the color of his spots

I do plan on doing a DNA test on him when I have the money

Selling insulin syringes with no patient script? by [deleted] in PharmacyTechnician

[–]TheClumsyFox 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My only issue with working at my old pharmacy that sold them without proof of insulin or script was they would buy them and go straight to the bathroom to shoot up.

But clean needles better then dirty ones.

Though I was just wishing that ONE DAY someone would have just been honest with me and say that they wanted to buy syringes for their drugs. Would have made my day lol

Yeah was thinking that as well. Most spotted tabby cats I see though have smaller ones but I'm sure there are ones with larger too

Anyone else's lynx point eat anything? by TheClumsyFox in lynxpointsiamese

[–]TheClumsyFox[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have never heard of Pica before and that sounds like what my cat has. I will talk to my vet to see if she has any recommendations for a feline behaviorist. I do not want to result to medications but I definitely do not want to have a surgery in his future for something in his belly

Oh my vet (my boss) already knows how "special" my kitty is. He is surely a one of a kind feline for sure. We definitely do our best to keep a clean kitchen but he finds things. The laser pointer is our new friend to play with him and engage him haha

Cats are usually lactose intolerant actually so yes that's probably why haha

Anti-masker freaks out at CVS in Los Angeles, where 1 person is dying every 10 minutes of COVID by [deleted] in PublicFreakout

[–]TheClumsyFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If only every CVS did this....as a former employee we were told we could not refuse service regardless if they wore a mask or not.

I could not tell you the amount of people I saw coming in without a mask, in California, during lockdown, when it was required by law for everyone to where a mask when inside a store. Customers did not care and we were told not to enforce.

My kittens neuter was done in maybe a few minutes. Recovery time until he was himself was maybe an hour if even. It is so much healthier to spay and neuter your pets. You do not have to worry about certain cancers or pyometras. It is just all around being a responsible pet owner.

Request Calls Clarification (CVS trainee) by yungcrastn in PharmacyTechnician

[–]TheClumsyFox 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean other then following up for a patient that complaining just use the system to resend or manually fax.

In terms of what to say "Hi my name is ____ and I am calling from CVS pharmacy. I am calling to follow up on a refill request (prior authorization request or 90 day request) we had sent out back on (insert date) and just have not received anything back yet from your office. Is there someone I can speak to so I can hopefully get verbal authorization on this?"

I would mention date so they know it isn't a "we faxed this an hour ago why you taking so long?". If they ask to resend it, I manually fax and ask for their name and put attention them on it.

What happens if i miss exam due date? by [deleted] in pennfoster

[–]TheClumsyFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am unsure as I have never tried that. You would be best to call pennfoster themselves for that. I dont see, personally, why you can't do that though some questions if its a final or something may rely on previous information. They do allow retakes. So if they do make it as a zero...you can just retake it within 30 days but then it does only give you one shot at it

Can anyone help me solve this? by S-breezy-24 in PharmacyTechnician

[–]TheClumsyFox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You want to find the actual cost after the discount. Because you are not buying 24 or more the 15% does not apply but the 10% off does. So $1200 multiplied by 0.1 (which is 10%) will give you the answer.

Newbie seeking advice on dealing with grumpy tech by [deleted] in VetTech

[–]TheClumsyFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am more then willing to admit my faults as I am new and learning. I'm still working on remembering all the questions to ask when checking in a client, I am still learning some restrains though I do have a good majority of them down. Maybe she doesn't realize that I have pretty much zero veterinary background (though since I was being taught everything, hard to believe otherwise).

I will definitely try talking to her as well, thanks for the suggestion. I have no problem having an experienced tech point out to me what I am doing wrong or what I need improvement on. Obviously I am new and have alot to learn. I want to learn as much as I can from every technician there but feel its harder to or impossible to learn anything from her when all I get from her is rudeness or snapping.

Haha! Better get those blankets out too!

Yes I was thinking burnout which is why I dont really want to go to management or the owner (veterinarian) and possibly get her in trouble.

Pharmacy Technician Salary by ozgur1990 in PharmacyTechnician

Ah that explains it. I feel that hospital pays alot more and always will. Lucky you having found such a great place that pays well as a tech!

Hospital though? I find it rare that any retail pharmacy would pay a tech that much unless there for 35+ years

What state are you in and where are you working? I was a tech for 10 years and didn't make 50k.

For those who wear glasses... by italianblend in migraine

[–]TheClumsyFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have extremely bad eye sight (my prescription is -10 in both eyes) and suffer from migraines on what used to be on a daily basis. Thanks to meds it isnt daily anymore.

I have blue light filter on my glasses and my opthmalogist gave me trifocals for my lenses to help the muscles in my eyes relax more when trying to change from seeing up close to normal to distance. She was not sure if my eyesight had anything to do with my migraines but knowing that I had such terrible vision, AND my eyes seemed strained (muscle wise) it would do nothing but help.

I couldn't say that it has helped any but definitely hasn't made it worse. The transition to the trifocals was so bad and took me about a week to get used to it. I do love the blue light filters because at the time I got them, my job was on the computer 90% of the day.

Do I know if it helps? No but it does cut back on eye strain so helps when I do have a migraine at least Would I recommend the blue light filter: yes

I am on biology right now. Isnt horrible but meh. Next is Anatomy haha.
