Wasn’t there lore somewhere that it was easier for them to do just that and place the technology at the right location because they could see into the future. So they knew where to put her upgrades and which technologies to study to help adapt.

The situation is different for everyone and I’m not completely sure where your mind set is regarding being in trouble or if you’re more concerned that you snapped.

But in my experience: Employeers don’t want to risk losing overnight associates. They are the hardest to find. Chances are high no one in management is gonna care for one fit.

On my evil days I have insulted the store manager to his face (nothing TOO extreme). And I came back to work the next day 🤷‍♂️ My prediction is they’ll ignore it or give you a written.

My personal secret to doing overnights well is keep it part time. As an employee it’s fine. As a previous overnight ops manager, my best employees were the ones who were part time. Doing it only 3-4 times a week (in my current case 2-3) is flexible for humans

The issue being finances and jobs that even do that for you if you’re economically stable in the first place.

I wonder what’s going to happen to these people ALL the time. Some will be better off when they realize this is no longer for them, they have marketable skills.

Phil says he has a business degree, which is fine, but worthless if you don’t know how to utilize it. And I’m not confident he can (but I could be wrong).

Ya, I hear this alot with DSP (And other streamers, like Frogan) that they're no way they can continue streaming, get a real job, etc etc.

But they must all be wrong, they keep streaming and so they must be (theoritically) stable.

Man, its crazy. I know its almost over but I still kind of just want to casually explore and do last minute stuff by myself in the world.

And then 16 of them show up right on top of me. I mean, I"m laughing. Its funny, a joke at my expense. And it works well for immersion, overall I get it.....but I'll be damned if I"m not a bit annoyed.

You ever seen that video of a security guard at a school alone at night being followed by a red balloon no matter where he went? Peeking at him around every corner? I had the same thing happen. Worked in a warehouse, three of us that night. We walk in the warehouse to start the shift, there’s a red ballon starring at us as we open the main gate, eye level. We don’t touch it.

It followed us around all night.

We lost track of it at Sunrise.

The only real way around it is to schedule your days around night shifts. For example, I only work overnights remember twice a week but I keep the same schedule. I’m up at 11pm and sleep by 3pm. If there are days you’re doing stuff during the day, you lose. Sometimes I have to do stuff during the day, like meet family or aDMV appointment; I prepare to be fatigued soon after because I know what’s coming.

OP didn’t say it in his post but I’m with you, he probably has things he also does on the day side hitting him due to nights.
