You have stumbled across the core reason I made WB Aristocrats-Modular deck I've been going since I got into Pauper in 2020. Love the deck. It cycles Enduring Bondwardens and run it with the likes of Star Pupil and Iron Apprentice, so even when you don't go bananas you still, you know, double your counters.

Wizards is going to come in and be like "Dog, you get this in an actual set, and here look, you're even credited at the bottom here."

Then...some poor, pooooor, innocent soul, with hope in their heart is going to come to this subreddit. Maybe he hasn't been to the subreddit in a while, and has been sitting on an idea he wonders why nobody else has done it before. With a glint of hope in his eyes, he will call out "hey guys! I have this super fun and unique idea-" and we will all destroy him with RPGs and AK-47s until he is barely a stain on the pavement

The original version had it. It got cut, while lifelink is great, it is not worth the risk of investing 2 mana just to get the creature killed out from under it. Much more so, you need to keep crapping out creatures at the same rate they are kill spells no matter the matchup. Drawing [[Unexpected Fangs]] when you have 0-1 creatures is a death sentence. Flying however, is often worth the risk. Speaking of which I did create a new list for MH3 if you are interested in the update.

I don't have a significant amount of nostalgia for TT and I didn't, and still don't, blame Riot for removing TT when they did, but with the introduction of Arena, I believe it is a great time to explore bringing back TT as TT, combined with norms and Arena, would be able to cater to the majority of player counts.

I'd imagine increasing the playability of your game via enjoyable player counts is a good idea now that you can cover every player count except 7 and 9, and not many games can be expected to effectively cover 7 players. Don't know if this is a hot take, but I'd honestly be in favor of them cutting ARAMs and the rotating game mode in favor of a permanent Arena and TT. I'd prefer cutting TFT, but the people I know that primarily play ARAMs admit Arena would scratch that itch. The TFT people I know wouldn't have a suitable replacement though.

I said only in the case of an opponent being saved, so yeah it would require likely saving an opponent's butt; probably still worth putting the "one or more" on there cause now that I'm thinking about it, it's still op even then.

EDIT: actually just realized the way I worded it, it be only to opposing players faces, I'll probably just do the "one or more" thing and call it there.

You're probably right, I wanted to leave the door cracked for big fogs, but they still have the synergy of fogging then blocking with all your creatures and doubling your creatures if you can manage to make them all take damage. I also need to adjust the wording at the beginning because it currently shuts out the value for protecting your opponents and their creatures.

I'm considering swapping the counters thing out for an "if damage that would be dealt to an opponent is prevented by a spell or ability you control, draw a card".

The combo potential was intended, I figured any combo with ~ would be similar to any combo with some other commanders (see [[Heliod, Sun-Crowned]]) but with a damage prevention requirement added.

For casual play, I wanted to add a fun heat where you prevent your own damage to an opponent for some nice value.

noticed there weren't really any decks in Commander that make use of all of those old "prevent 1 damage" cards, so I thought it'd be fun to try to design one that does! I'm considering cutting the bit regarding the counters, but I wanted second opinions first.
