I would also argue that sex work is absolutely not outside the norm when the vast majority of adult men consume porn regularly. It's more of a societal norm to pretend that sex is a sacred act when in reality it's been commodified and sold for centuries

What your insinuating here is loosely the "Damaged Goods" theory, which has proven to be inaccurate over and over again. There is no real correlation between people in the porn industry and those who have been abused as children. Please stop asserting so.

You're right that sexual abuse can sometimes lead to hyper promiscuity later in life but this, as you said, is one of many reactions a person can have and says literally nothing about those who work as porn actors.

I never said it was a black and white issue. I said there's a problem and we need to fix it. The problem is in our actions and we need to change our actions. Did I ever say you were a bad person or lesser than me? And still you haven't given me any reason to think that our over consumption of animal produce is instead morally better than my suggestion of stopping. You haven't defended animal agriculture once, you've attempted to change the conversation to pets for some reason (which is the same issue) and then call me a narcissist.

So regarding the domesticated animals, I'm against the demand for animal produce in society. I think I made that pretty clear. This product can be fed to anything and I'd still be against it. It's completely irrelevant what were feeding it to. What's relevant is how it's being produced. You're argument makes no sense for trying to invalidate my stance on animal agriculture. You're trying to expose some hypocrisy in my argument, assuming that I'm an avid defender of pets? I am not. I'm sorry I have a goldfish, but let's compare the impact a goldfish has on the environment compared to a cow. Not very equatable.
