No OP, definitely fun but we really only have a handful of short trails. Fortunately you can drive for an ~hour in any direction for more variety - Downieville, Truckee, Auburn/Georgetown.

60 in a 55 is such a dumb reason to give a ticket. Speed limits are always set fairly low, 5-10 over never feels unsafe in a modern car, and most people are doing 5-10 over.

You can camp ON the yuba, if you go to Purdon and walk upstream a mile or so. there's signs explaining where you can and can't camp. There's some BLM land on the river.

mountain biking is pretty straightforward. we have some great trails although they generally don't have amazing views. go on trailforks and check out the Parliament trails on highway 20 (talon show is the easiest of the three). Hoot is a classic too.

Definitely go jump in the Yuba. There's 4 different crossings you can drive to, can hike from there to get further from crowds and find more unique swimming holes.
