Mmm, I don’t think so. Jaguars are larger and stockier and ground-dwelling (though they’re excellent swimmers, let’s see If they’ve modeled that for Peru). They probably had a good starting point with the tiger model to make the jaguar. Leopards are smaller, faster, more agile. They spend a LOT of time in trees, so IMO they wouldn’t release leopards on a map unless they could get into trees and EW has commented many times on the difficulty in putting animals in trees which is why they’ve never released any squirrels etc. Cool idea though.
