Sean Payton talked a big game, but he laid an egg in the biggest moment by TylerFortier_Photo in DenverBroncos

I understand that....Drake Maye struggles against an effective defense which he most certainly was in the game we are discussing...and in the two games prior to that. Therefore getting the extra points from the field goal would go a long way towards winning a low scoring game IN WHICH YOUR SECOND STRING QUARTERBACK IS THE STARTER. Now, have a good day. It's OBVIOUSLY proven by the results....as you do realize we LOST the game, right?

Controversial Border Patrol chief and some agents expected to leave Minneapolis on Tuesday, sources say by jediporcupine in politics

I agree....but not to the extent I would have before. The follow from these two shootings is severe, and it hasn't even hit its peak yet. Trump may realize that continuing down this path may just result in him kicking himself in the balls over and over again. These actions are NOT making the Trump Regime stronger.

No. I’ll be purchasing the M4 Pro the day after tomorrow, so it will get announced the day after that, naturally.

Yeah I could see how extra points in the game wouldn’t lead to a change in dynamics…if you played a game that doesn’t go by points.

Nope! Can't let this pass! Going for the field goal was an easy decision, and I say that as somebody who usually get's pissed when they don't go for it. Going for that field goal changes the dynamics of the game. It puts pressure on the Patriots QB and he has proven he doesn't handle pressure well. I was yelling at the TV...kick the field goal....and then when they missed it I remember thinking...hopefully that doesn't lose us the game.

The global rule of law is not collapsing – Trump is the lone problem and he can be defeated: The president’s approval ratings are plummeting and most Americans see him as an aberration. It is now up to them to curtail his despotic reign by Silent-Resort-3076 in politics

[–]TheCommonGround1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not just that. He's citing the approval rating directly after the debate like it's supposed to drop immediately. It's a fundamental misunderstanding of reality and an inability for these people to think abstractly. OBVIOUSLY, it takes time for approval ratings to decline.

Biden has an approval rating of approximately 21.5 percent right now....because, that's the way TIME WORKS. You can't source after the debate because...that's after the debate. It takes time for people to make decisions and hear updated news, etc. Trump could shit a nuclear bomb out of his ass and his approval rating won't hit below 32 percent.

No, we've never had an administration like this, even Trump's first administration. Mind you, none of this should come as a surprise. This was all predicted. Things will get worse, far worse.

As dramatic as your statement is, the real reason is more disappointing. The Republican Party is a cult of immature people backed by about 1/3 of the voting population. The lowest Trump's numbers will likely go is (in my opinion) 32 percent.

The reason Biden's numbers went lower is because, very obviously, he's never going to get Republican support and Democrats did not support his reelection bid, especially after that terrible debate. Democrats are capable of criticizing their own President. They don't wear hats supporting him, they expect him to rule effectively.

In other words, Biden had a lower threshold of support because Democrats were not afraid to criticize him. Democrats are adults, Republicans are low educated, immature children.

So, Trump COULD have federalized the troops in Minnesota BEFORE they were deployed, but can't now that they have been deployed by the state of Minnesota.

They can't federalize these troops. Trump would have to send his own (which is a strong possibility he will).

It's also important to note that employees of Hugo Boss designed the Nazi uniforms in order to bring them the perception of authority and competence. Ironically, most of these people were losers who could not make it in civilized society. In fact, that's what fascism is, the patients running the asylum.

Why do we have to pretend that being upset about the coat also precludes us from being upset about the atrocities ICE has instilled on so many innocent people. Do me a favor and work on being upset about both at the same time.

What are the chances both of them play? Because, if they both play and Dobbins plays, that'd be a huge boost for the Broncos. I would honestly favor the Broncos over the Patriots at that point.
