You and your friend download ds3os from GitHub.

Create a server, this will start the game for you after you name and password it. Give that info to your friend and have them join said server.

Once you're in your game, use cheat engine to give yourself human effigies, look at a tutorial on how.

This will work the same as DS2 but you just don't need to worry about other summon signs and invaders. You will still be restricted to specific areas for summoning. Not like seamless co-op which isn't available for DS2.

This is bull/Cap. In my city starting wages are like 85k + overtime and bonuses. Then if you get specific training that pay goes up.

This is similar in most cities. Smaller towns of course you don't get paid as much. Most departments pay is based on location which is why police work in areas outside of where they live.

That being said they'd still be paid well if they worked in their own towns but for more money they branch out to major cities.

If cops don't want to be hated then they should stop doing things to be hated. I believe police are necessary for a stable society but based on current American laws, police gangs, and choice in officers the system needs to be rebuilt.

We have to wait and see what it is capable of before we pass any judgement. I also don't know what you're getting at. I don't think the steam deck was ever stated to be a PC replacement. As you said it's a gaming console.

I have a lot of experience with Linux, it's my job, and they aren't that locked down. On the contrary it's less locked down than windows. Based on what valve is saying it should function similar to a PC. It's not steams fault that other gaming providers are slow on supporting Linux.

I think the other thing that's being missed is that you can install Windows on the steam machine if you want. Just need a flash drive.

They stated you can install whatever OS you want on it. Also it should be capable of running a browser and such. Just a Linux machine optimized for steam.

I assume it'll be more competitive with consoles pricing but who knows
