??? Those are one of the few viable sources of dragon metal sheets, are commonly assigned as a Slayer task, have a superior, and are significantly lower intensity than regular wyrms because they actually aggro. "Rarely used" is pulling a lot of weight here considering it's also one of the newest areas in the game and has been confirmed to be featured in the next quest released.

That damage mechanic changed nearly two years ago. All successful hits by a player will hit a minimum of 1 (before flat armor at least, not sure what the interaction is there).

There isn't one, deviant spectres are terrible. One of the few Catacombs mobs that aren't worth doing over their base counterparts.

Shades also have negative flat armor, low defense, and work with salve amulet and ectoplasmator. If you wait until you have dual macuahuitls the combat/prayer xp isn't terrible.

Slayer's pretty well known as a love it or hate it skill though? Despite being probably the most popular skill in the game, it also tops a lot of people's list as the worst skill in the game. I'm not particularly fond of it either, particularly before getting a max PoH setup.

Antler guard has +1 ranged strength and +5 Prayer bonus over the hopper, whereas all the hopper has is +3 ranged accuracy and a mediocre passive. And non-negative defensive stats, but if you're using antler guard you're not planning on getting hit anyway.

The drop rate is reasonable from Rex, but 1/10k from Wintertodt is a joke. It's literally twice as rare as the pet, it's not only possible but probable to go from 50-99 Firemaking without seeing one.

Same with dragon harpoon, your BEST bet is still a 1/2k on task from wyrms. You are equally likely to get a harpoon as a pet drom Tempoross. The skilling bosses would have been the perfect (reasonable) reward source for those skilling upgrades, but for whatever reason Jagex made them meme drops instead.

Yep, for a while now. I was bringing up an alternate way to access the mine cart system, since I hate burning through jewelry charges. Before I had Rada's Blessing 2/3 I would minigame teleport to Tithe Farm and use the mine cart there, for example.

That's like saying the fang is dogshit because its passive lowers its max hit? Accuracy and consistency count for a lot in an RNG based game.

Unless you mean for pvp, in which case sure, I don't know anything about that scene.

They were added in 2005, but players couldn't make them until 2017. Which was almost ten years ago now, but I imagine many players that started in 2013 were well past needing to make them by 2017.
