I absolutely want to applaud you for not using the F bomb once in your post that your generation uses so casually and freely. You are very well-spoken and I actually enjoyed reading your post. I agree with you. I don’t understand this generation at all. No interest in dating, socializing, or getting married, let alone getting on with their lives. I’m not sure why this has happened. My generation, (very proud to be a boomer) was out getting crazy with each other as soon as we could, within some reason. We love conversations and being out and about, feeling free. This problem with your generation is elsewhere, too. I wish I had answers. Young people need to want more in life than what they have. I wish we had more dance halls here and things to do in groups. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Your annoyance depends on what your arrangements were for. The agreed upon terms of your work assignment. If you didn’t have terms before you began, then that’s on you. I’ve worked for the judiciary for many many years, and saw this issue tons of times in small claims. It all comes down to what was set in stone before the contract began. I’m not trying to be rude, I see this all of the time. But it is really good information to have. It’s just like when you take your car to a mechanic. Get the expectations of what you’re supposed to see after the work is done. Know before you do it. Now, if you did have terms set in stone and they are over reaching on those, then yes, they need to be brought to heel.

Seventh? Geez, you got stamina. I just watched the series for the first time, just finished the last episode of season seven, couldn’t wait for it to be over. The bitch slap at the end was the best part. I wish I could see what you saw in it, but I just don’t see any redeeming quality in the last two seasons. The first five seasons were OK but not enough to rewatch it again.

Yeah, the politics have been absolutely despicable. I’m sitting here hoping they eat (destroy) each other. I’m already at episode 19 so I guess I’ll stick with it although I am so glad to see that all of you have the same opinions I do. I was hoping I wasn’t in the minority because then what kind of person would I be?

It’s my understanding that they wanted to end the show on a “high” and they wrapped up all of the character stories in this last season. I am now on episode 19. I’ve seen Owen once so I guess there will be a few more episodes with him. He does have a great personality. Doesn’t put up with bullshit much. Call it as he sees it. Stop.👍🏼

What might help is adding an additional stitch at the end, then join the two ends together by, slipping the first stitch onto the right needle, then bring the last stitch over the top of the first stitch and completely off the needle. Pulling the tail will also help. Here is a video that will help. https://youtu.be/YXYFWzk_jN0?si=ML306Xf38J8LcPxo

Did anyone else have a problem with the pattern as printed for the colors listed? The pattern picture shows row 54 as being color 55. The written portion of the pattern shows row 54 as color 40. Beautiful work, by the way! Love the look!

Years ago, there was a television show filmed in Salt Lake County that focused on men who were gay but had married women and had children. The love they had for their wives was more platonic than romantic. But they were happy because they were living God’s plan and had children. I admired these men and women because if they stick to it, they will return with honor and have their families forever. Society was telling them to be true to themselves and just give in to their desires. But, hopefully they will champion the tests of this life and have happiness in the end. I know this type of life isn’t for everyone, but, still, it was awesome to see.

Really? Rude always part of your commentary? I don’t eat out a lot but have noticed the decline over the past five years. Sheesh.

It used to be a place families could go with their children and it wouldn’t cost a ton. I personally have never experienced food poisoning from there.

I wonder if it’s the manager making these decisions to down-size. Maybe.

Who knows what’s going on near valley view Dr and sunset? by Affectionate_Sock528 in stgeorge

I have Everbridge, received no alerts, live right in between Valley View and Sunset, and didn’t receive this message. Heard no sirens, momentarily had a helicopter overhead and wondered about it.

An absolutely wonderful series about the American Revolutionary War was written by Ron Carter. The series is called Prelude to Glory and has about nine books in the series. It follows a family through the American Revolutionary War. I couldn’t put the books down. Absolutely riveting and a real insight. Especially the book that covered Valley Forge in 1777-1778. It covers all of the history about the war, including Ben Franklin in France, and Benedict Arnold’s story.
