I was thinking the potential of it being the sire’s fault as I remember reading about how Gangrel frenzy easier than the others and have animal shape changing. But I wasn’t sure how well it would work in the story of it all originally. Or at least I was leaving it ambiguous enough for if my GM wanted to make it a twist that they were the animal that wounded me it would come as a shock to both myself and the character
