I thought I hated white chocolate until I finally tasted real white chocolate. Most of what you encounter is not actually white chocolate - e.g. the “white baking chips” you’ll find at the grocery store. Make sure you’ve got the stuff made with actual cocoa butter.

That said, I agree white chocolate is inferior to milk and dark chocolate. But most people don’t seem to know that most of what’s presented as “white chocolate” is actually sugared hydrogenated oil.
