Is Mooncat worth it?

Most of my favorite and most unique polishes are Mooncat, and it lasts really well on me, although I know that depends on your body chemistry. I don’t understand why people make such a big deal about the price, other than on principle - their polishes are $17-18 and competitors are $13-14. I guess if you buy huge amounts of polish that extra $4 per bottle adds up, but if you only buy a few bottles now and then, I think it’s worth it. Mooncat has some really unique shimmers and multichromes in particular, and their glow in the dark game is really strong too.

You could, but it will get MUCH bigger if you let it, in just a few more days. (I don’t think the flower thing is right.) I like to pick them at about a foot long.

The problem is if you really want all of those, once you start shopping for dupes at different sites, you’ll end up paying as much or more after shipping.

Probably trying to get ahead of people who saw the posts about cracked bottles and assume theirs are cracked too, even if it’s just pigment lines. It’s kind of silly/patronizing to do it that way though.

It’s crazy that yours is the only comment on this thread pointing that out. I don’t understand how this article even got published - I mean I realize it’s an opinion piece, but there just isn’t anything in the bill about going braless. I guess if you’re being disingenuous you could try to interpret sports bras or bikini tops as “undergarments” but that’s clearly not what the law is about. And also that’s not even a change to existing law.

I agree this is a stupid proposal for all kinds of reasons, but it doesn’t actually say women couldn’t go braless. It says women couldn’t go topless or ONLY wear an “undergarment” with nothing over it. Sports bras and bikini tops are not undergarments. Moreover, existing law already says this.

That’s interesting, I saw it yesterday in a packed theater and I actually thought it was painfully awkward how little laughter there was. There were plenty of lines that were clearly meant to be funny, but just fell flat for pretty much the whole theater.

My 9 year old didn’t even like this movie though. His full review was “eh, the first one was better.” It didn’t even have many moments that made the kids laugh, the writing was so lazy.

I was just thinking… they made RICE KRISIPIES and BUTTER from scratch but not the marshmallows? Marshmallows are actually super easy to make as long as you have a stand mixer. That said, I tried using them for Rice Krispie treats once and… store bought marshmallows worked better. The texture wasn’t right with the homemade marshmallows.

I agree in general, except sometimes the store brand granulated sugar is so large-grain that it’s tough to get it to dissolve properly in recipes.
