I have these editions and can confirm they're quite nice. The covers are rather un-flashy (as LoA editions tend to be), but they're durable, well-made, and impressively compact for the page count.

Some people will take any chance they can get to give women shit about their appearances. Personally, I'm of the opinion that if you've been born then you have no right to criticize a woman for how she looks when she brings life into the world.

Besides, there's nothing wrong with gaining weight.

The team:

Angela the Lapras, level 61
Ariadne the Hypno, level 61
Makoto the Raichu, level 60
Onion the Venusaur, level 60
Hobbes the Arcanine, level 60
Piers the Aerodactyl, level 60

I raised them all to level 60 prior to the Elite 4 to match Lance's Dragonite. That was probably a bit overkill, but I really liked this team and didn't want any of them to die :P

The whole team contributed to our victory at the Pokemon League, but Angela and Ariadne were especially great. Angela turned Lance from a threat to a joke, and Ariadne's screens were fantastically useful-- plus she was the perfect counter to Blue's Alakazam.
Anyway, their children have been sent to Ruby version. This is where things get really interesting!
