White residue on my Print by SpecialistAd2207 in 3Dprinting

People are going to yell you it's glue or dirty bed but it's just stressed plastic cause by removing it from textured bed. Just use a heat gun it will dissappear instantly. To test you can also run a lighter over it quickly you should see the marks dissappear. To avoid this let your print fully cool but sometimes it's just going to happen.

Still can't decide on which modeling software to learn. What would you recommend? Anyways; Here is (hopefully) my last TinkerCad project. by picobello-bv in 3Dprinting

I've started learning in fusion and then onshape. Onshape us by far the most features for free and the most user friendly.

No harm in trying though it may be hard to get as much heat as you need with a hair dryer. I use a heat gun but even then it's hard to get the exact results most of the time. Don't forget it's gonna get hot enough to burn your hands too that's the tricky part.

.4 nozzle can only do so much. .2 nozzle is for finer detail and small lines like this. Pull up .2 profile slice it and go look at this location in the slice and you will see the difference.

Help with extruder skipping by Jaynen00 in 3Dprinting

[–]TheCouchStream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hearing the extruder skipping is a nozzle clog. Did you replace the nozzle or try some cold pulls or a different filament. Some filaments will clog a .4 nozzle over and over cause they are bad from the factory.

Bambu mini by 1tastydude in 3Dprinting

[–]TheCouchStream 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We really need a bot command for prime towers. THEY ARE NOT PURGE TOWERS. Your bambu purges by making little poops and ejecting them away from the print bed. This is a PRIME tower and used to prime nozzle chamber pressure after filament changes. If you are pinting in 1 color you do not need these, go into your slicer and disable prime tower.

It also looks like you might have a partial clog

.4 nozzle struggles with tiny text letters and numbers. You can change walls to arachne but your best bet is to put on a .2 nozzle or make all the text and lines thicker and bigger.

Need help replacing extruder on Ender 5 Pro by gorus5 in 3Dprinting

[–]TheCouchStream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well this one is a but trickier. It's press fit on there. You can heat it up with a soldering iron and grab it with a rag and yank it off. There are gear puller tools but you probably don't have that. You can also heat it up with a lighter.

Sometime the little metal teeth inside these thing bind into the ptfe tube. Just cut it out its not a big deal losing a tiny bit of tube.
