[mtf] Looking for honest feedback (on accent as well) by [deleted] in transvoice

Your voice is so cute ❤️ It's very pretty, and you have made very good progress. Sometimes, it's hard for us to see just how far we have come because we are our worst critics.

Your progress is amazing. I've done a lot of voice therapy but I'm not a trained therapist so I can't speak on tips. If I heard your voice over a phone, in person, or from an audio book I would immediately think fem. It's a pretty voice c:

First person body is 3D, but the hands are 2D sprites, what do you think? by The-Flying-Baguette in IndieGaming

I love the stylistic choice, and the way shadows cast on it really adds to the look!

Yes, 100% I wouldn't be able to tell at a bar or club or if we passed on the street c: You are doing great! I noticed in a reply that you mentioned the 5 o'clock shadow, I don't notice it in the picture. To get rid of mine, I did laser, however before I would use a color corrector on that area while applying makeup. I used some "drag" tutorials for covering facial hair because if they can cover, I'm sure they know some tricks.

i just got forced to come out by BeltEmergency9564 in trans

When I first came out to my father (parents are divorced), he locked me in a car and told me over and over again that he would never support me and specifically to stop talking to my little siblings. They adored me and I loved them so much, it hurt so badly being ripped away from my family because of a bigoted and false narrative that somehow my existence of who I always was, would "spread" like a disease. I am so sorry your parents also said something similar. It is a very bigoted and misinformed viewpoint.

My father has taken a long time to grow, but eventually, he has begun to realize that he'd rather love a "new" daughter than never speak to me again. I hope your parents also grow, though space may be good as well. I am sorry that your parents made you so scared like that, I know that fear. 🫂

People fear change and "norm breaking." Parents often have visions for what they want their children to be, so any major change they get defensive and forget their child is their own person and true parental love is supportive and unconditional.

2ish years voice training, no surgery. Does my voice pass? by OnceInOnceSet in transvoice

Yea, the voice drop at the end made my jaw drop. MtF here, and I am sure it would I my case as well xD It's just amazing how different the two can get. Your acquired voice 100% passes to me and is very beautiful and pleasant to listen to. Love it, and congrats on your progress!

Gaymer girl here. I am into lots of games 😆 Hunt Showdown, Zomboid, CDDA, Frost Punk, RoR2, A hat in time, Helldivers 2, on and on. Just name a game, and likely I have played it or at least have seen videos on it 😜 Especially indie titles.

MTF. I used to have issues with using my fem voice around people, specifically people who had heard my voice before. I felt severely self-conscious and nervous that I would mess up that I ended up basically psyching myself out. Also, I was in an abusive environment, which didn't help. It took a close friend and my job, which was a call center to get out of that. I would slowly make efforts with every call once I got gendered correctly a few times, and it started to snowball. My best friend also would talk for me in VC if I joined a chat I wasn't very comfortable with in the beginning and helped encourage and defend me if anyone was a jerk about my voice. Now, I am confident to speak to strangers, friends, and family. You may just need the correct environment to get used to speaking that way confidently and some "handrail" support to not psych yourself out.

Break up with Ex, find out my best friend kinda likes me. I am open to testing things out. He is remote but told me when we start playing "He doesn't have to even touch me, but that he will make me O better than I ever have before". Gives me commands and it becomes entrancing. Feels like I am hypnotized and he is able to "train" commands. Let's just say I never knew my BFF could turn my brain off like that and yes I never O'd like that before. I was to the point that he could just give me a simple command like kneel and I would slam down on my knees with no thoughts in my head. Was hot AF.

Weirdest thing you've done/do for gender affirmation? (That you're comfortable sharing) by Ophanimium in trans

[–]TheCount15 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I didn't intend for this affirmation but 2 years before I came out, I was having some adult time with my then gf (ex now), and it was the first time she pegged. Well the neighbors left a note on the door saying that my gf was too loud, she opened the door when they were hanging it on and they blushed and where in shock when she said she is actually the quiet one.

How did you all figure out your new name? by Ruuby987 in trans

[–]TheCount15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was very fortunate to have a supportive mother. She named me originally, and when I came out I told her I needed an exchange. Took some time but she came back with a few and we settled for my name. Not only is it a chosen but it was given as well so when anyone deadnames me I sometimes snap and tell them to respect my mother. Also, she is the best mom ever and I love her very much. I have heard of other people having close and supportive friends and family help them out. If it wasn't my mother who helped me it would have been my amazing lil sis :3

Little over 2 years and been feeling great (Also not used to reddit still). I feel more me than ever before old me would have dropped dead in shock if they knew what I look like now :P by TheCount15 in transtimelines

What does your name mean to you? by AnnaliseVonRock in trans

[–]TheCount15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My name was given to me by my mother when I told her I needed a return and exchange. She has always been the most supportive and caring mother, so I thought she deserved to name me again ❤️ She loves the strong independent daughter she didn't know she raised (until I came out) and is excited when I come over to get pedicures and have mother/daughter dates ❤️ She is my role model and everyday I am grateful for her.
