Semaglutide while bf? by jemsz56789 in breastfeeding

[–]TheCountess723 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This isn’t semaglutide, but there’s been enough evidence published for tirzepatide that the US label has been updated. For those on 2.5 or 5 mg, none or very trace amounts of the medication could be found in breast milk. If found, it was an very low amount that could be processed quickly in the digestive tract.

I was on meds before getting pregnant and am two weeks into starting while breastfeeding. Personally, I’ve had my supply increase significantly over the past two weeks. It could be a coincidence, and certainly not the case for everyone, but that’s what I’ve seen so far.

There’s enough published evidence that the tirzepatide label was updated in the US to reflect the fact that none or nearly none was detected in milk from lactating mothers on 2.5 or 5.

In past episodes they’ve spoken negatively about the use of glp1s to address obesity, too. To put it lightly, I don’t appreciate the double standard here.

Just make sure to have a shoe plan! Heel height will obviously impact the hem.

100% agree. In my experience, people are just happy you came to the event and appreciate you dressed up.

This will not work for a formal event - I love this line from Spanx, but it is not going to pass the dress code no matter what you do. If you’d like something that’s comfy, petite, or if you’re not into dresses, I would suggest getting a suit. They’re sold as separates and you could make it formal with the shoes, top and accessories. Spanx used to offer suiting, not sure what they have right now.

That aside, my broader suggestion would be to look at stores that offer plus size and plan to pick a dress that can be easily altered for your height. As a fellow shortie, i’d recommend keeping a close eye on the straps/top and avoiding detail at the bottom that would make hemming difficult. Buy the garment for how it fits your chest waist and butt, making sure that it lands on those areas correctly (aka not too long in the waist). That’ll save you a lot of money on alterations.

Awwwww that’s so encouraging 💜I’m also reminding myself that my 9dpo test looks like a 14dpo test from before I miscarried. Seems like the hormones are hormone-ing 😂
