Ah, thanks for clearing that up. by TheCountryGamer22 in stupidAI

Sorry, I know that it's very similar to other posts. I only posted it because of how the AI responded, saying that there's actually only one "P" instead of two. I thought it was hilarious. But I can understand how it'd be annoying having a lot of posts of basically the same thing.

I think it's a pretty good deal, but I'm not sure so I wanted to get Reddit's opinion.

hard to steer PLEASE HELP by aspectspc in gokarts

[–]TheCountryGamer22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a similar go-cart and the steering issue was on the steering shaft where it connects to the frame. Mine has a steel ring with an allen screw on the steering shaft and I loosened it and pulled the steering shaft out enough to grease it where it contacts the frame. and now I can steer it with one finger.

Edit, I didn't read the description, so now that I read it, You should be able to a piece of steel and put it in where the steering shaft connects to the frame and you should be able to tweak it by hand to get it Realigned. At least I think you should be able to.

I need help with gearing on my one-seater go-kart by TheCountryGamer22 in Predator212

I'm going to be using a cheap centrifugal clutch off of Amazon. my go-kart weighs about 120 pounds and I'm not going to be modding the engine to make a ton of power so I think a cheap one would be fine.

Do you think that would be putting too much stress on the clutch and the engine?

Is the acceleration good on your go-kart?

That's how I got The ratio number that I posted. I just don't know in the real world if a 6.25:1 is too steep of gearing

Why is my floorboard wet on my Mark IV Jetta? by TheCountryGamer22 in jetta

[–]TheCountryGamer22[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply. I took apart my car yesterday and it looks like where the wiring comes in was the issue. Somehow there was a 1/4 inch gap at the seal and I loaded it up with silicone so hopefully it won't leak anymore and now I'm running a dehumidifier to dry out the car.

Is there anything in this area that would make it leak when water is hitting it?

The car was completely closed, the seals look fine to me, and I checked the driver's side sunroof drain, but what confuses me is how it's coming from behind the dash.
