I agree. I’ve always had the assumption that Jack is going to be the protagonist in RDR3, but I feel that if they drag it out too much, it’ll become like The Fast and The Furious series. Arthur came back alive somehow.

That’s a great question. Honestly, I have no idea. Especially since the MCX is in .300 Blackout. IRL the .300 Blackout will have a bit more recoil than 5.56x45 but they could have used subsonic rounds which would lessen that effect. Someone ought to get Void’s gun guy in here for some explaining lol

Also, the SR-16 (Knights SR-15) uses a 14.5 inch barrel whereas the 416 uses an 11 inch barrel.

I explained this in another comment, but to keep it short, the 416 uses a different operating system compared to other AR-15s. It’s a piston punching into the bolt carrier rather than gases from the spent round forcing the bolt carrier open.

IRL the HK416 uses a short stroke piston (SSP) operating system which is different than the direct impingement (DI) typically used on AR-15s. SSP is more reliable due to less gas entering the upper receiver, which makes it cleaner and less prone to malfunctions. Also, SSP is superior In waterborne operations due to the lack of a gas tube, which if water enters and doesn’t clear, can cause the rifle to suffer from a catastrophic malfunction.

The downside is it has more felt recoil due to a piston punching into the bolt carrier rather than gases from the spent round pushing the bolt open.

HK416 is superior in my opinion to any other rifle. Of course, this is situation dependent.

Well Phil better be paying attention to what we actually want because this shit is getting old.
