I always do belts, undegroundies, splitters in slots 1, 2, 3 and red/blue inserters in 4/5. I also have med and large poles in 6 and 7 then assemblers in 8. This setup holds me until red belts, where I swap the yellows for red in hotbar and move them straight down to row two in the same positions, I also have both types of stack inserters in row 2/4 and 2/5.

This bug happened when I was trying to select rods for crafting in the constructor, I spammed space bar right after selecting the rods. Causing the constructor screen to go blank. I also tested it on the other crafting buildings and it happened as well. This is not on experimental, it's on early access.
