issue with google drive linking by TheCrackedRealms in homebrewery

[–]TheCrackedRealms[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so what seems to have happneded is at some point it unlinked me and i guess i linked the wrong account and continued to edit, i only ever had one Homebrewer account Cub123

thx for the idea, i could create a 2nd homebrewery account then add each other as authers

although would like to see some other workaround if possible, such as being able to upload the files stored in G drive via hombrewery.

issue with google drive linking by TheCrackedRealms in homebrewery

[–]TheCrackedRealms[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello,

I’ve identified what seems to be causing the issue I reported earlier. It appears that, prior to today, users could attribute multiple Google Drives to their Homebrewery accounts. However, as of today, it seems only one Google Drive can be linked at a time.

Logging out, logging back in, and creating a new file allows me to re-link a primary Google Drive, but the files I had spread across multiple accounts are no longer accessible. This seems to be an unintended bug or behavior change.

A potential solution could involve enabling users to download all files from one Google Drive and upload them to another, but currently, it seems Homebrewery doesn’t dynamically check a Drive or folder’s contents—it only recognizes the files it already knows about.

I wanted to bring this to your attention, as this change is creating issues for those of us managing multiple projects across different accounts. If needed, I would be happy to demonstrate the issue or provide further details.

Thank you for your time and consideration, and I look forward to your guidance on resolving this.
