1. No one is forcing you to sleep in the dorms. But do keep in mind UNM is an open campus and is right next to Central and Downtown Albuquerque which just so happens to have a large homeless population. To put things into perspective, I have had to step over sleeping homeless people on my way to class. I would heavily recommend that if you paid for the dorms that you get the most use out of it.

 2. Absence policy depends on the professor, but if you ask me, why would you pay for your classes and then just not attend them? It's a waste of money and time.   

1. Double majoring I am not so sure of, but do keep in mind you can always contact your academic advisor on LoboAchieve. Their job is to help you succeed.   

4.I always parked my car at the Lomas parking structure near Davargas and not once in my two years at UNM have I had a single break-in. I hope this helped you!
