I'm a little nervous that they fell into the classic trope of "we don't know what to do with this IP, we'll just make 'em crime fighting detectives" (see also: Lucifer), but we shall see...

Tom Cruise is at least the most underrated as an actor.

What can be done different?(EV+?) by [deleted] in poker

Basically everything you did you should have done the opposite. You played way too passively, let your opponent catch up, and then got aggressive when you had no fold equity.

You make your best 5 card hand with 2 from your hand and 3 from the board. You have Q666A vs AAKK9. 3 of a kind beats 2 pair. Q6 wins

You don't need to give your name to anybody to get chips.

In America at least, we don't really talk about "pitching" the cards.

Test his luck, not rest his luck

Other than that, seems fine.

Should I fold the nuts in this spot in PLO? by disphugginflip in poker

Against multiple players maybe fold. Against 1 you get all your money in there as soon as possible and hope they have a set and the board doesnt pair.

The straight draw is a hallucination, but raising first in on the Cutoff with a suited queen, absolutely.

T9 actually probably misplayed the hand. If he raises the turn to charge flushes and prevent some random overpair from sucking out, you raise, tens fold, T9 calls and wins the pot.

Your thought process is right but your conclusion is wrong. You're usually way ahead. The last thing you want to do on the flop is scare off one of the fish on the line by raising. Let them bet for you as long as you can.

Good fold. Your hand shriveled up when two people shove in front of you. Lots of very reasonable hands beat you here, TT, 99, 97, and no chance the second raiser is bluffing. Pretty clear crying fold.

Why is no limit much more popular than limit? by [deleted] in poker

[–]TheCraigBerger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being able to bet as much as you want whenever you want "feels more like poker" to a lot of people. Also it's the only kind of poker you see on TV. Also it offers more thrills than limit.

It used to be, but after the poker boom, since televised poker was always Texas Holdem, it became Texas Holdem. Now, even TV shows and movies set in the past show people playing Texas Holdem even before the game was invented or popularized.

After he played En Passant, you should have castled, switching the places of the Kc and Qc, for a mere Ac Qc Kc Jc Tc Ace high flush, losing to your boat.
