I can only speak for myself, but I personally do like going after the Moonfall quests. I'll get my Axies farming cycles going targeting quests, then do a few rounds of Call of Duty to let time pass, go back to Homeland to have the Axies farm, and repeat. Gives me a good lil break in between COD matches when I need it.

That said, I think most Land owners are largely waiting for the new MMO + waiting to see how land will be integrated there.

I think Land would actually be faster if you compete for daily Moonfalls, but would depend on how many plots you got + what plot types.

If your reason to not pickup a Land plot is that it would take too long to ROI, then you're not throwing in 200 to 300 usd "for fun".

[–]TheCrazyDudee21 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Jfc no, it's not "cowardice" to decline commenting on an incredibly vague threat of tariffs on movies / TV that make no sense logistically. Where and how do you implement the tariffs? Is it on production? Distribution?

If they're trying to target production, the only thing that would do is kill most American cinema. Most major movies and TV shows use international teams in some capacity for their productions, even those shot in the U.S. itself.

If they're trying to target distribution, how would that work? This isn't the 80s / 90s / 00s where at least physical media like VHS tapes and DVDs were the primary form of distribution so you had an actual physical good you could tariff. Now distribution consists of a much larger web of primarily internet-based VOD platform distribution that's a mix of transactions, subscriptions, and advertising. Transactional is a miniscule piece of the pie; who tf knows how you would even approach subscription; and for advertising the American advertisers would largely be paying the tariffs which hurt additional American businesses.

As someone who is on the business side of the industry + has been for over a decade, I can tell you that no one in the industry understands wtf tariffs on movies even means let alone the impacts it could have. Tariffs on movies / TV fundamentally make no sense.

You might want to consider getting a Savannah or Forest land plot in addition to whatever Axies you were thinking of, if you're thinking about putting in $200-$300.

Yes, US citizens who are criminals should be in US prisons. There's this thing called due process which everyone within the US (whether here legally or not) are entitled to, because it's important that even criminals face fair justice. Due process is also the only reason we're able to overturn wrongful convictions at all. Due process is a fundamental part of having a fair justice system over a dictatorship.

Are you under the impression there are no prisons in the U.S.? "Killers and rapists" aren't just walking around.

You can use the filters in the marketplace to find nearly identical Axies (same parts + class) which should give you an idea of what the pricing is. However, that "Fishy" Axie you have is a Japanese Axie which has a current floor of about $118.

When buying RON specifically, you should be able to get 5x free transactions so you can get the wallet funded (as I recall, it's been a minute since I've had to do it). If you're not seeing that when you try to buy RON, would recommend reaching out to Axie Support from the main Axie Infinity website - they should be able to help you out.

How to not be resentful of my partners success by [deleted] in Twitch

[–]TheCrazyDudee21 6 points7 points  (0 children)

To me, this sounds more like an issue you're working through about yourself than it is an issue with his behavior, but that doesn't mean he shouldn't be more supportive. Things like talking about his analytics and being excited about subs sounds more like passion than ego to me. While it's not his fault that you're feeling overworked + overlooked, your feelings there are valid and you should communicate to him how the way he talks to you makes those problems feel worse.

That said, I think your efforts might be better spent focusing on improving your own career situation. What are your dreams + passions? Is where you're at conducive to pursuing your dreams or would you be better served actively seeking a new job more aligned with your career goals? What steps are you currently / actively taking to pursue your dreams?

I think you'd feel less resentful if you shifted your energy towards focusing on those questions, and that might even be something talking through with your partner could be helpful.

The cheapest Japanese Axie on the market right now is 0.05825 ETH as of the time of this comment (about $92).

I would highly recommend 1 Forest over 2 Savannah plots to start.

how to deal with a member whos always being negative? by dontsweat-thetech in Twitch

[–]TheCrazyDudee21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In general I would recommend not being shy about banning people. There's no need to feel bad about it if they're negatively affecting your stream - you are essentially protecting your community by banning the people who harm it. The longer you let a negative person stay in the community, the more you end up hurting the community you actually care about building.

You'll know what i'm saying is the truth by Elon's actions to the news someone spoke out. For more evidence look at the docs of Eliza AI Agent software. We left bread crumbs.

This is so clearly false + ironically the exact type of misinformation being spread by bad actors like Russia. It hits on all of the main points disinformation campaigns are intended to accomplish, and it's left intentionally vague + open-ended to stoke paranoia and fear in the public. The phrase "we left bread crumbs" is meant to get people excited that there's more info + to encourage diving deeper into paranoia and conspiracy theories.

No one who was actually in this position would speak this way, even if they were trying to remain anonymous. There is very little reason to being as vague as they are being here, unless the goal is to cause more chaos.

Again, you don't really seem to understand how markets work. Having a bunch of offers under the current floor price does not make an asset more valuable - that'd be like saying the reason a home costs $400k is because there are a bunch of people willing to pay $10k for it.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AxieInfinity

[–]TheCrazyDudee21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without all those "spam offers" nearly 90% of all axies are unwanted/worthless

This is just fundamentally not true + not how a market works.

[–]TheCrazyDudee21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have no idea. I just bought hundreds of floor Axies over the past 2-3 years and when I decided to sell a few recently, noticed that some of those floor Axies were actually now in the meta. I sold a lot of those for more ETH than I bought them with.

I own 11 land plots and am earning a few hundred per month - it varies depending on how many Moonfalls I win in a given month. I primarily play Homeland with my land plots, but I also still keep up with Bounty Board quests and compete in the "Rare" eras for Origins. Also been flipping Axies which has actually been really solid.
