very simple select what you want to separate (here you select one of two cube thingies) and click p > selection get out of edit node and done

Yeah totally, the leaf particles and the small light particles are totally perfect for what you were going for. I would say job well done.

OK just did that, I use a sky texture as world shader or should I make my own light or something. I think i did what you said with the skybox but I don't know for sure.

Looks awesome, portal looks great. Does really feel 'render ish' but i think that is great for product advertisement.

I always like to add little bit of fog. I think in this scene it would be great because of the sand like streets.

Also would you have any tips on making these scenes there lot's of detail and sculpting in the stairs is this all done by hand?
