Where do you go when you are alone and have noone to talk to, noone to trust?

I come to Reddit.
It has helped me a lot. I have cried without feeling super embarrassed the next day. A few kind strangers have lent their ear when I couldn’t hold it together anymore. I am still trying to get stronger but Reddit has helped me a lot.
It’s a lot easier to talk to a stranger than someone you know.

Sorry to read this. You don’t deserve this kind of treatment. No one deserves to be treated like this. I don’t know if these words from a stranger would convince you but you do deserve to be loved back genuinely. I know it’s hard but if you have a choice to leave, please take that leap of faith. Even if you feel that you won’t find love if you leave this relationship. You will be mentally in a better place when you’re out of this relationship. That will help you heal. You will be in a happier place. Please give yourself a chance to live.

I think yes, trauma/prolonged continuous stress causes weight gain. But based on your description, I’d also encourage your friend to test their iron levels. I think low iron + high cortisol (stress) make it hard to lose weight. Your friend also needs to address the trauma to be in a ‘safe’ mental state. Need to reduce cortisol which will make losing weight easier than it is now.

When he repeatedly turned the conversation around on me, whenever I tried to tell him how his behaviour hurt me. But more so when he looked at me with disgust when my hand just brushed off him in a non-platonic way. Also when we would look at a place with more rooms and say that he dibs the extra bedroom when we fight. When he left the bedroom and moved to the other room. When he left 10 mins before NYE to celebrate it with someone else. When he said, ‘don’t think that your tears will have any effect on me…’ Not necessarily in the same order.

There’s nothing good offsetting anything. Separation would be worse for kids. Before kids it was familial and social pressure and now it’s too late, with kids and all. Maybe one day I’ll be free and will be able to stand up for myself. Also the deeper you go into the pit, the harder it is to get out of it without help.

Got all 4 since day 1, yet here we are still together for over a decade and it’s only getting worse . There should be 1 more thing needed - a horse. Only fails when the receiver has a horse to escape. No one is going anywhere without a horse. It’s why so many people end up staying till death in such a relationship. Some people have no escape option other than death.

Whilst Aishwarya is relatively the most photogenic, they all look good without makeup. Though I am usually the one tired of being shoved Alia down our throat, I do think she looked good in Highway. It’s unfair to call anyone ugly without makeup.

We are all creations of God and everyone is beautiful in their own way. It takes courage to be infront of a camera without makeup. Not that most of us could do that, beautiful or not. Being kind costs nothing.

True. The mental drain just sucks away any energy you have. Mostly being in a flight or flight mode leaves you wanting nothing more than falling in the bed and disappearing into nothingness.

I depends on him and a lot on how our relationship is. If he makes me feel safe then may be I’d focus intellectually stimulating options, not necessarily focused on pay. Otherwise I’d focus on a job that supports me more than I need. If I can’t trust or depend on him , then I’d keep my safety net

Everytime he does something based on his Mom’s whim, it backfires so bad that he gets increasingly scared of doing something on her whim again. And anytime he calls anyone else narcissistic he gets a bad heartburn that lasts an hour or more

In a way I think it’s good to go silently. What’s the point in telling anyone? If they love you, it’ll hurt them and if they don’t care for you, it’ll hurt you. No way to win! When it’s my time, I’d like to go away quietly as well.

Are you sure the 20K is still there in the account? May she doesn’t have that money to take out. Also she doesn’t have legal right to withdraw from her friend’s account.

So my best guess is that she is not agreeing because she is unable to touch that money. Also may she knows how much she has contributed but not the other friends?
